The Perfect Day. Luna Olivia POV
Woken to the excitement of the twins squealing, it’s their 5th birthday today and we are planning on going to the theme park and having a lot of sugar and fun.
Having a Alpha and Luna as parents is not easy on young pups, there’s a-lot of work to be done which family time is few and far between. Don’t get me wrong we spend a-lot of time together but mostly based around work and not fun. Every year for their birthday we take the day off to have some well needed quality fun family time just us. The beta and Gammer watch over the pack.
*BANG* the door smashes into the wall and all I can see flying at me is two little lovely figures their beautiful ice blue eyes glisten as the morning light peaks through curtain.
Deep husky voice next to me groans what time is it.. early my reply with giggle as the kids jump up and down on the bed “it’s our birthday, it’s our birthday” I grab them both into my arms and hug them hard and breathe in their scent deeply, happy 5th birthday my beautiful twinnies. A pair of big arms wrap around the 3 of us his mouth close to my ear that husky voice sends shivers down my spine “happy birthday my little pups”. This bubble I could stay in forever the four us together peaceful, unite. We are the strongest when together, Especially the twins they seem to have this connection and are able to feel what the other is feeling you know if one twin is in a bad mood the other won’t be far behind, it definitely has its challenges at times.
We get up, dressed and ready for our day out at the theme park it’s about an hour and half drive from here we’ll and hour drive really as it takes about half hour just to get off our pack lands. We are the biggest pack in our country and are respected by many, but with power as such it will always come with its enemies, not only enemies of our own kind but vampires and witches the only people we don’t have to worry about is humans as they are oblivious too our world.
The kids are excitedly opening all their presents although they both have a special gift which they will receive once we get home from the theme park, they are playing with their new barbies and action figures, watching them fills my heart with joy, they have such a close bond.
I have made breakfast muffins for the journey as the kids are chomping at the bit to get to the theme park. It’s great how excited they are, but being alpha pups makes them very strong willed and maybe some will say a little out of control but as they will get older they will control their feelings better it’s only because they are young and don’t know how to channel the energy they get from the different feelings.
We set off on our journey Lexi singing at the top of her voice with Arlo getting clearly frustrated with the music choice but he just gets on with it while sipping on his juice box.
