CID: CRIME INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT

One night, a lawyer was sitting in his house and working. While working, he was smoking a pipe. After some time, he got up and walked toward the bookshelf to take a book. As he was looking for a book, the landline phone suddenly rang. He put the book back on the shelf and went to answer the phone. He placed his smoking pipe on the table. Vakil: Hello... Yes, yes. I will look into it. Yes, I'm doing it. After ending the call, Vakil suddenly became tense and nervous. His hands started shaking. While putting down the phone, he lost his balance and held onto the bookshelf for support. He slowly walked toward the table and noticed a tablet and a glass of milk. He became suspicious of the milk. He picked it up and smelled it carefully. After checking it, he placed the milk back on the table. The landline phone rang again. Vakil hurried toward it, but instead of picking up the phone, he accidentally picked up a book. Suddenly, he started screaming loudly. He became weak and collapsed into the chair. The next morning, CID Inspector Adhitya arrived at the scene. A CID Sub-Inspector was waiting for him. Sub-Inspector: Sir, Vakil sir is the only person inside the house. There is nobody else here. Adhitya: Okay. Do we have any information about how Vakil died? Sub-Inspector: Sir, it appears to be suicide. The door was locked from the inside, and Vakil sir seems to have consumed poison. Adhitya entered the house and saw Vakil's dead body sitting in a chair. A forensic doctor was examining the body. Adhitya: Doctor, please check the body carefully once again. Adhitya looked carefully at the medicine. Adhitya: One capsule is missing from this strip. He handed the medicine to the doctor for examination. Doctor: Sir, there appears to be another substance or tablet involved. If a person consumes it along with this medicine, it could be fatal. Adhitya: Then someone may have given Vakil another tablet. Vakil didn't necessarily take the poison intentionally. Someone could have made him consume it. Adhitya looked around the room carefully. Adhitya: This may not be a suicide. It could be murder.
