THE FATHER OF THE GIRL...who made my life miserable

Mexico Nastia had closed from school heading home with her friend; Audrey, to spread the good news into her mother's ears. When she reached home, she shouted with so much joy " Mom! mom! mom!". Couldn't find her mom anywhere, she became disturbed. " How could her mom not be around to hear this flabbergasted news of hers", she mumbled. For sometime wondering where her mom could possibly be, her mom entered with some groceries. She ran towards her mom with a broad smile and gave her a tight hug immediately she saw her. Her mother; Mrs. Mina was dazed at her daughter's excitement. "Is there some great news for me?" Mrs. Mina asked with a questioning expression. " Mom I passed the exams" , Nastia said. " Wow, I knew you'll never disappoint me", Mrs. Mina said with a little bit of exaggeration. "That's not all mom, she paused, retrieved from the hug and continued with a smile, I also got a scholarship to study abroad". "What?" Mrs. Mina shouted. " Yes mom, in London". "I'm now speechless. I don't know if u should cry or smile", Mrs. Mina said. With a little bit of worry, Nastia asked, "Why do you have to cry? Are you not happy for me?" "I'm very happy for you but a part of me will be away from me. I'll always feel sad when I remember you". With a convincing tone, Nastia said, " You're changing my mood by saying that. it's like you're insinuating that I'll forget all about you, but to be honest, I'll miss you more than you will". They both put a faint smile on their faces and hugged. She then took the groceries to the kitchen and helped her mom in preparing dinner. After dinner, she went upstairs to her room to sleep. Inside her room, she imagined how life in London will be like. She dozed off after some time. The next day being a Saturday, she woke up very late as unusual since she won't be going to school. She never woke up that late to do her house chores and help her mom at the store. Her mom didn't disturb her when she found her sleeping. The alarm rang for the fifth time when she startled and got up to know that it's half pass 10. She was dumbfounded at herself for waking up so late. She quickly took her bath and went downstairs only to realised that all the house chores have been done. She then headed to the store to help her mom. During noon, the market became very busy with this hustle and bustle. They closed around 6 in the evening. The next day, they went for a mass and then headed to the cemetery to visit her father's grave to tell him the good news. After the visit, she went home and prepared for the graduation. The graduation was fun. Nastia and Audrey said goodbye for the last time since it might take a while before they see each other again. It was sad one. After the celebration, she packed her stuffs so she won't be late for her flight. All her neighbours were happy for her. America Yvell was busy with her book in her room when her mom called her for dinner. She didn't like it when she's distracted whiles reading. She turned into a deaf ear to her mother's calling. Her mother; Debbie, came upstairs and found her reading. " Yvell, it's time for dinner", Debbie said expecting her to stand up from her book but she didn't. Yvell is a daughter of a billionaire who live with her parent. Arrogant because, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and pampered by her father. Being the only child, she's provided everything even without asking. Having no response from her daughter, she called her for the third time in a soft tone convincing her to have dinner. "I'll be there in a minute", Yvell said frowning. Her mother left her. It was about an hour before she came downstairs to eat. Mexico to America The next morning, Nastia had to say her last goodbyes. She left for her airport early in the morning with her teachers and mother. After a long flight, whe she arrived at the school, she felt like she was in a different world. "Wow what a place. I thought these are only shown in movies", she said to herself. She was shown her class and her room by one of the teachers. Everyone in the school was in a classy wear except for her. But that didn't bother her. Besides, she came here for a purpose. She showered down and ate before going to bed. The next day, she woke up so late because it was her first time sleeping in an air conditioning room and a soft bed like that. She was very nervous to go to class when she woke up. But fortunately for her, she met a girl on her way who escorted her to the class. She was in the class as Nastia. Everyone was staring at her in disgust but she paid no heed to them and sat beside the girl. " Sarah", she said stretching her hand to Nastia for a handshake. Giving her a handshake, Nastia also mentioned her name. " That's a nice name", exclaimed Sarah. Nastia replied, " Thanks". America "Sorry, I didn't mean to do it", said Moreen. Yvell didn't hesitate and went into action by slapping Moreen for bumping into her. " Are you blind? This is what you get for being clumpsy. Next time you'll watch where you're going." Moreen broke down in front of everyone which made Yvell on top of the world. No one could report her for her despicable act. They were afraid of being expelled. Since Yvell's father owns the school. In this case, she does whatever she likes and even instruct the teachers. She did this with her two friends; Sasha and Cassandra.
