I made a cut and breathed through the pain. Dorian’s glance looked quickly to my hand on the blade. His lips parted at the sight of the blood. He took hold of my hand as I felt the warm blood drip slowly down my neck and instantly turning cold as the pain surpassed to fear.  “What are you doing!?” he demanded in a shout gripping the blade from my entangled fingers and throwing it to the ground.  I heard the crash of metal against the stone and I quivered at the sound.   “Giving you what you want. What you need.” I felt a tear rise behind my eyes but I would not let it fall.  He took hold of me pulling me into his tight embrace.  “You do not know what you are asking of me.” He stated but his eyes were on the blood along my naked neck and not any other part of me.  I studied that look;
