The next day I avoided Sean completely and spent the daylight entirely by the lake. I consoled my soul that this might be the last night I am alive because Dorian Lark may well kill me. Feeling empty, but prepared I returned to my rooms at the first sign of the moon in the sky. Dorian and the others would soon be awake and my plan initiated. I pulled a black silk dress without the layers of lace or a corset beneath it. The design was simple. A square cut exposed my entire neck bare to my shoulders and let the two plump curves of my breasts only barely covered. It flowed from just beneath them straight to the ground. The base trim was the only ornament in the color red. I was hoping that color would help me by being a trigger for Dorian. I wore nothing else. There was no point in jewelry
