The killer
I felt a sharp pain in my chest.
His first punch sent shockwaves through my body.
His hands moved rapidly up and down the bare skin of my chest, as if the slap was a wild animal attacking me.
It was his breath on my lips that I couldn't bear.
It was the tickle of his beard that I hated most..
It was his words that I couldn't bear.
He'd said he'd kill me and I was scared.
Scared that I wouldn't make it.
Scared that I'd disappoint everyone.
It was those words that nearly broke me.
I woke up to see, in my eyes, a murderer.
A cruel, despicable, cold - hearted killer.
A monster.
And it scared me.
He had no reason to be a murderer.
He didn't even really want to die, he was only killing me because he could.
I didn't even see him bring him in.
All I heard was his screams, people running around, and people crying.
I heard the door open.
He didn't speak a word, he didn't look at me once.
I looked at him, I stared, I felt a burning in my chest.
I felt his words inside my head, right next to my own.
Every single thought I had that day was one thought of death.
It scared me.
But most of all it scared me because I could feel it all, I could feel his hand touching me, I could feel his breath.
I hear an alarm and I realised that I was dreaming.
