Chapter Six She took a bite of the bacon double cheeseburger, the sticky sauce dripping over her fingers. Damn, did it taste good! She chewed, taking in the humor in the eyes of the hot cowboy sitting across from her. It wasn’t just the fact that Justin was sitting with her in this diner. It was the fact that not one woman in the entire room of red vinyl booths and counter stools hadn’t taken a second, third, and fourth look at him. The looks that had been directed her way had ranged from envy to pretending she didn’t exist. She reached for a napkin and wiped the sauce dripping down her chin. “So I can’t believe you’re here,” he said. She stopped chewing and swallowed, wondering what he was getting at.
