Part 3

The song finished, my brother bowed to me and placed my hand back in Alex’s. It’s getting late, my mum is now on stage about to give a speech.

“Ahem, hello, thank you all for coming to celebrate my beautiful belles 18th birthday with us. I have waited for this day since she was born, the day she becomes a woman, the day she can become one of us and shift, we will be going outside after this speech so she can do just that.”

Damn mum, I’m gonna be naked! I’ll kill her after the speech I sigh.

“18 years I’ve been blessed with this beautiful girl, sorry woman!” Everyone laughed.

“Thank you belle, thank you for loving me when I didn’t love myself. You and your brother have been my rocks and I certainly wouldn’t be here today without you both. I wish you all the happiness in the world, you truly deserve it beauty.” She raised her glass and everyone toasted to my name.

“One final thing...brad and jen please can you join me “ I smiled, I know what this is.

“Hello everyone, thank you for attending my little sisters big birthday bash!” Everyone laughed again.

“I have a bit of news to share!” He turned to jen.

“Jen has been the most amazing partner to me, the best mate ever! And now she is giving me the best gift of all...we are expecting a baby!” The room roared with applause and congratulations. I was so happy for them. Alex pulled me in closer.

“That will be us one day” I shivered again and couldn’t stop smiling. This man is perfect.

Everyone made their way outside. Luckily most of the people left, they didn’t need to see me shift. I looked around, only alpha Jax, close friends and family remained...and Alex. ‘Mmmhmmm I can’t wait, I get to come out and we’ve found our man’ Marie spoke, yes Marie I can’t believe it. How are we this lucky! ‘You got me that’s why’ Marie said smugly. Yeah but is that a curse I kicked back. Marie we need to concentrate, you need to come out. ‘Yess doll we got this’ Marie was happy.

“Belle, you need to close your eyes and feel your wolf, imagine her fur piercing your skin, claws breaking out and trust your senses” Brad spoke to me.

“Ok, I’m going to go behind the bush, hope you don’t mine but no one needs to see that!” Everyone laughed and agreed.

I go behind the bush only my head showing to everyone. I close my eyes. Ok Marie, it’s time. I concentrate on my breathing, steadying it. I can hear everyone breathing, excited, I imaging fur piercing my skin, I can feel the fur growing and then I hear and feel all my bones start moving and cracking. I yelp. “Belle, you can do this, your so close” Alex is now next to me he sounds calm. I keep my eyes closed and let the shift continue. Suddenly my eyes snap open and I’m pushed to the back of my mind. What the? ‘Yes doll, we did it!’

We jump over the bush. Everyone gasps. Their eyes are wide. Mum is crying again. I go towards her, towering over her and nozzle her stomach. Alex appears behind my mum and speaks.

“Belle, Mrs Sparkley, alpha Jax everyone, do you mind if I accompany my mate on her first run?”

“Permission granted” alpha Jax spoke. Alex nodded.

“Of corse, I’d expect nothing less” my mum smiled. I nodded. Alex disappeared behind the bush and jumped out as I did. Everyone took a step back. He was taller and larger than me, hold on, I’ve seen him before! ANDY! he was the mystery wolf.

‘Yes belle I knew it was him but you needed to figure it all out yourself.!’ Marie calmly said. What you knew who he was to us and you didn’t tell me? I asked a little hurt. ‘It doesn’t work that way. I can not tell you anything. You have to figure it all out in your own time. I can guide your decisions but I can not tell you things about our mate. Your body has to do that.’

Alex nuzzled into my neck causing Marie to shake a little. ‘Ah man, his wolf is everything I’ve ever wanted, needed. We are one.’ Suddenly another voice speaks in my mind.

‘Marie, so nice to finally meet you! I’m max, Alex’s wolf. You are absolutely stunningly beautiful. Your fur is soft, your eyes are like emeralds sparking so brightly. You smell Devine too’ max was chuckling. This turned Marie on. She is so bad. ‘This is mind linking doll, you will be able to do it with Alex once you mate.’ Marie, seriously, mate? I laugh. Those 2 chatted for a moment and then my mum spoke.

“Run belle, run!”

With that we jumped into the air and sprinted into the forest. Alex was hot on my heels.

‘Catch me if you can’ Marie giggles.

“Oh Marie, I could catch you any day’ ah these 2 are like kids. So this is what it’s like being in the back of the mind with no control I thought to myself.

Marie and max were running forever I’m sure. Max led us to the place Alex took us. The beautiful waterfall. It seemed to have so much more life to it now. I see things I couldn’t see before, smell things I couldn’t smell, I could smell the water, hear it splashing off the rocks below, I could hear more than ever too. Max sat and out his head on our shoulders. Pure bliss is all I could use to describe this feeling right now. “Marie, Alex wants to shift back now and speak with belle, does she want to?”

I’m naked! Tell him to look away then. “She said you both need to look away...she is naked and a prude!” They both laughed. Not funny Marie. “Of corse belle” max shifted infront of us leaving Alex naked. Damn he is hot...he is naked. Marie couldn’t help herself. Alex chuckled and turned around. “Okay girl, imagine your skin coming back, your snout coming back in and your facial features retuning. Imaging your claws detecting and your fingers reminding.” I calmed myself and done this, bones were cracking again but there was no pain this time. Soon I was stood naked behind Alex. I quickly jumped into the water. Alex shot round to see what’s going on.

“Belle? Are you ok?” Panick rose in his voice.

“Alex I’m ok, I’m in the water” I laughed. I turned around and he was soon pulling me close to him in the water.

“Belle, you don’t ever need to hide from me, you are everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more” he said his eyes full of love.

“No man has ever seen or touched my body, I’m sorry I guess I’m nervous” I reply. Alex moves some stray hairs from my face and looks deep into my eyes.

“Belle, the moon goddess has made you for me and me for you. We were destined to be together I believe that’s why I had to wait for you but believe me it was hard but worth it, I would do it all over again if it meant I got you at the end of it. You are my life and my soul. You complete me.” Nothing but pure love radiated from him.

“Alex, I feel for you the same as you feel for me. I never thought I would need someone the way I need you. You give me reason, to breath, to laugh, to live. You have become my world in less than 24 hours” I was no longer embarrassed, this was right.

Alex raises his hand, one pulled me in close and the other he stroked my cheek. His hand moved to the back of my head and he pulled me in close. Our lips connected and sparks flew everywhere. My hands flew up, one on his back exploring his muscles and the other wrapped in his hair pulling him in closer too. The kids got heated pretty fast and I could feel myself getting excited. Luckily we are in the water so hopefully he can’t smell it. Not like it would be a bad think just not in the right place I think. We were both so lost in the kiss.
