Brad pushes open the doors, all eyes are on me! We walk in past people, I greet as many as I can. Then I catch a whiff of something somewhat familiar yet amplified. What is that? It smells like freshly cut grass mixed with fresh rainfall, a hint of mint and aftershave thrown in. This smell was alluring, I needed to find it.
“Brad, I need to find someone” Brad had already seen my reaction to the smell and was smiling.
“Go belle” he whispered so only I could hear it.
I followed the scent to the back to the hall, all eyes were on me, I could feel everyone staring.
I look up and lock my eyes on someone, he is standing in the shadows. He was smelling the air too and come forwards, eyes not leaving mine. We were stood right in front of each other, this is the man, he is the one
“Mine” I whisper
“Mine!” He says louder.
Oh my goddess!! ALEX!!
Alex reaches out and touches my face, electricity bolts through me where his hand is touching. “Mine” we say together and smile, not pulling away from eye contact.
“Belle, do you know how long I’ve waited for you?” Alex stepped closer and whispered in my ear, my whole body shook.
“You was searching for your mate?” I whispered back. He moved his face back and looked me in the eyes, both hands on either side of my face, my body reacts to his touch, longing for his touch. “Yes belle, I told you I would get my girl” he winked at me.
Suddenly the whole room erupted in applause and laughter. I forgot about the room full of people. I turned to face everyone, Alex put his arm around me.
“Mum, brad, jen, everyone, meet Alex” I beam.
“Ma’am, Sir, miss, everyone. I am Young Aloha Alexander Black of the crimson moon pack. It truly is an honour to be here tonight. Thank you for your hospitality. Thank you alpha Jax for allowing me in your territory this past 2 weeks.” Alex nodded at alpha Jax. It suddenly made sense, that’s why he was allowed in because he is an alpha! Which would make me Luna!! ‘Yes, it is our destiny’ Marie spoke.
Everyone bowed down to Alex. This was strange to too see.
“Welcome to the family Alex!” Mum was now crying a little. I ran to her and tried to comfort her.
“Mum, why are you crying?” I ask, my heart breaking for her.
“Oh belle, I’m so happy for you, I’m only sad because you will be leaving but please, visit me whenever you can” mum sobbed.
“Mum you’ll feel like I’ve never left” I laughed causing everyone around to laugh too.
“Mrs Starkley, thank you for understanding. We will not leave until belle is ready” Alex spoke to my mum. He stepped in closer and put his hand around my waste again. Causing sparks. This is going to take some getting used to.
“Thank you. Right, let’s get this party started!” Mum shouted and the music started up.
Everyone come over to me wishing me happy birthday and congratulated me on finding my mate. Ah my mate, he has stood next to me the whole night, I feel bad as I should be putting my attention in him but I’m being swamped. I think I’ve spoken to most of the people. Then someone comes running up to me nearly knocking me off my feet, Sam!!
“Belle!! I can’t believe it, your so lucky. Did you know it was him? Damn he is hot” Sam whispered the last part. The man behind her didn’t look too amused.
“Is that Gerard?” I asked smiling at the man.
“Oh yes Gerard honey, this is belle, the best friend, ever!!”
“Hey belle, nice to finally meet you, I’ve heard so much about you!” I laughed at his response.
“All good I hope!” I replied. He laughed too.
I turned and Alex come to me,
“Alex, please meet my best friend, Sam and her mate Gerard.” I smiled at them all.
“Hello ma’am, sir. Nice to meet you both” Alex smiled warmly. We stood and spoke for a while. Sam wanted a drink so her and Gerard went to the bar.
Everyone was dancing and drinking. Mum looked like she was having a great time. Brad looks happy too he was dancing with jen they are perfect for one another, she keeps him grounded.
“You owe me a dance” alex winked at me.
“That I do, please mr black” I winked back. I think I’ve had a few drinks, lost count.
Alex led me to the dance floor and spun my around, making me laugh. The music changed into a slow dance, Alex pulled me close, his hands landed on my hips our faces inches apart. I licked my lips and looked at Alex’s full plump lips. His eyes got darker as he looked my my lips, Alex moved in closer leaving a small space between us and then I closed the gap, instant sparks once our lips connected, this was a gentle kiss, I parted my lips allowing access, Alex chuckled into my lips, damn he is sexy. He pulled apart suddenly.
“Belle, I can smell your arousal. Damn” he bit down on his lip causing my to groan, this is so sexy. He whispered in my ear
“Belle, I need you, I want you, you are all I will ever long for. But I think your brother wants to dance” he giggled at the last bit. f**k, he is so hot, he is doing things to my body I’ve never felt before.
“Belle, can I have this dance!?” Brad smiled. Alex stepped back and shock brads hand. They whispered to each other and brad stepped into Alex’s place. Alex walked over to the bar.
Brad and I danced and chatted.
“It’s a great feeling isn’t it belle, indescribable!” He smiled.
“It truly is brad, I can’t believe it, he felt special to me but as a friend and tonight he has become my world in only a few hours!”
“Love works in mysterious ways” Brad laughed.
