Emilia's P.O.V :  It was late evening , the sunset was glowing in a warm orange color . they say “ with every sunset , a new hope is born , as an old expectation dies “ , but right now ,as I’m wallowing in my tears , I know for sure that there’s no hope left . Perhaps the expectations I had was that I’d always live happily ever after with my family , but that shattered about three days ago , because of that a*hole I call dad . Flash-back to 2 weeks ago : RING ….. RING ….RING “ugh!!” I turn off my alarm , I knowI have plans with Kathy and Anna but I’m still kinda sleepy should I just cancel ? “Sweetiiiiie !! The girls are here” I hear my mom calling from down stairs . “ YUP , no Canceling now !” I murmured to myself , “ JUST A SECOND !!” I yelled back . I got off my bed , and went to my bathroom took a quick shower but didn’t wash my hair since I just washed it yesterday ,I put on my underwear ,some high-waisted denim shorts  and a tank top , then put on my makeup and let my hair down in its natural wavy style . Just as I was done the girls walked into my room. “ are you done yet? We’ve waiting for eveeeer!” said Joanna Dramatically “ oh Hush ! drama queen , It took 30 minutes , u probably were stuffing your mouth downstairs , u still have some maple syrup on the side of your lip “ I said laughing lightly at the end “ Touché! But u can’t blame me your mom’s pancakes are DIVINE “ replied Anna while wiping her mouth “ hey babes !! put on some shoes and let’s goooo!” said Kathleen “ yeah lemme grab a pair , u girls go ahead wait for me by the car “ I grabbed a pair of black Jordans and socks , put the on then headed downstairs. “hey honey ! do want pancakes?” said my mom as I kissed her on the cheek “ I would love some ,but if I’m any later than this the girls will bury me alive ,I’ll just grave something on the way ” I said laughing “ Good morning sweetie , have a great day today “ said my dad as he kissed me on the cheek and grabbed his suit case and car keys . “ babe ,I thought you said u had a day off today ? “said my mom looking kinda sadly at my dad “sorry honey, something urgent came up and HQ just called me in, I promise I’ll make it up to you ” said my dad , then he kissed her forehead and walked out . I walked out to find the girls waiting by my car. We all got in and drove away towards the mall . We stopped by starbucks to get something for me to eat then continued on our way jamming to our favorite songs .   Time skip : after the shopping spree “ I’m dead ass tired , and sooo hungry , should we go grab something to eat before heading back ?” said Anna as dramatically as ever . “ where to then? “ I asked her “Umm, I heared there was a new restaurant around the corner here , let’s go there u know try something new “ “ yeah sure “ We drove to the restaurant called Open sesame , and parked the car and got off . As we were going in , Kathy suddenly pulled me back by my arm . “ Ouch kath, why did u drag me all of a sudden ,I almost fell over “ i squeaked “ Umm, Emy is that your dad kissing someone’s hand” I thought she was joking at first so I was kinda laughing lightly , until I looked over at where she was pointing to , and I felt the air getting knocked out of me . He said he had an important job , could that women be his work associate ? but then again judging by the dress she was wearing I guess not . There’s no way my dad would be cheating, is there? I mean he loves my mom dearly , they were highschool sweethearts and all that cheesy s**t … So many ideas was going through my head at that moment , I felt faint. The girls were looking between me and the scene unfolding in front of us not knowing what to do, until they snapped out of the daze then dragged me back to the car , and we just sat there and waited . “ I-umm I  have to confirm this , she could be just his associate at work or his boss … or something like that , right? RIGHT?” “ umm, babes I – I don’t think that’s the case, but let’s wait and see “ said kathleen About  30 or 40 minutes later , my dad walks out of that restaurant with that woman holding onto his arm very closely . I was beyond shocked , I was completely mortified and disgusted . thanfully they parked their car on the other way and since it was getting dark , he didn’t notice my car . We follow them as they drove away, keeping a safe distance so we don’t get noticed , until they drove into a hotel’s underground parking lot. It felt like I was slapped , I knew what was happening . MY DAD WAS CHEATING  ONMY MOM,  but somehow I didn’t want to believe it until then. I mean what more proof do I need ? they walked into a f*****g  hotel . I felt the tears drop onto my cheeks , and soon after that I was wheeping . I din’t know what to do : should I tell my mom? What if she doesn’t believe me ? what if they get divorced ? So many questions were swarming  in my head .I couldn’t go back home tonight , my mom would know something’s up just by the look on my face . and what if that asshole goes back home tonight ? I can’t even look at his face now . I decided to call my mom and tell her that both me and Kathy are sleeping over at Joanna’s tonight. I should calm down first and then think about what I’m gonna do. Being away from home for one night is gonna help . **************************************************************** END of Chap 1
