HONEYMOON

Stacy pov. My eyes fixed on Greg while I faked the smile on my face. I became nervous and I couldn't keep my balance. Sabastian spoke to me. “Are you alright? You seemed nervous.” Hearing him say that, I blew hot air out of my mouth, trying to calm my nerves. “I am fine.” I responded to him and held his hand tightly. It wasn't too long that Greg walked up to me. I had a questioning gaze all over my face. “Why are you here?” Those words went out of my lips as a whisper. But Greg's harsh face fixed on mine. “Congratulations. Happy married life.” Hearing him say that, I can't believe that Greg would burst into tears right in front of me. I felt emotional but I controlled myself. Sabastian soon pulled my hand. “Let's go home.” … Getting home, flashes of memories of what had happened in the wedding ceremony flashed my mind. Greg’s actions made me wonder if he was still very much in love with me. I haven't lost my love for Greg in any way. I felt like going back to him even after the pain he caused me. Sabastian and I were in the same room. He sat beside me. “Do you feel right about this wedding?” That question surprised me. “No. This wedding shouldn't have taken place in the first place.” My reply was harsh. But Sabastian only took a deep breath before he continued speaking. “I do not feel right about this either. But I think we are fated to be together.” Hearing that from made me shoot a deadly glare at him. I was forced to speak my mind. “There is no way we are fated to be together. You are just a frolic; lusting after my body.” After those words, a surprise expression was revealed on his face. “What?!” Before he could speak further, I cut in. “Oh…You think I won't find out? I knew right from how you kept staring at me.” Sabastian took a deep sigh before he responded. “I do not see anything wrong in lusting after your body, afterall, there would be a reason I would accept to be with a woman like you.” “Have you suddenly forgotten that you are a divorcee? Your former man used and dumped you. You should be grateful for a man like me to accept you.” I felt his words hit my chest like a dagger. I couldn't control my actions. I ditched a slap on his face. “How dare you insult me?!” Uttering that word, it only made Sabastian scoff. “And what are you going to do other than slap me with your sweet hands?” “Do you know that you look even more sexy when you are angry?” Saying those words, I felt his hand on my face until it crawled to my lips. His right finger dragged my lips slightly open. I was carried away by his charming looks. “Deep within you, I know you crave after my body and you want to have me to yourself.” “Nothing is wrong in lusting, my darling.” He used his right finger to tower my head slightly. He buried his eyes within mine. I felt his hot breath dampening my face as his head moved closer. ‘What is happening to me? Why can't I resist him? I need to snap out of this quickly. I can't let him kiss me.’ I thought to myself but my body had given up on me. When he was close enough, I shut my eyes; expecting his lips on mine. But then, Sabastian stopped. He removed his sharp gaze from mine and he pulled backwards. ‘Why did he stop?’ I questioned right from my heart. “I can't have anything to do with a woman like you. You are dumped, bruised and divorced.” Hearing him speak those insulting words at me, I snapped out of it and I stood on my feet. “I can't have anything to do with you either!” I walked out on him. By the time I reached the living room, those words he said flashed through my mind. It was humiliating that he wouldn't have anything to do with me because of my past relationship. ‘Why did he accept me then?’ I thought in my head; unable to give an answer to that question. Only for Sabastian to come meet me in the living room. “Why are you running away from me, my love.” Hearing his audible voice penetrate my ear, I was surprised. “I thought you said you don't want to have anything to do with me. Why don't we just live like strangers then?” Hearing me speak, he spoke in defense. “I can't afford to live like a stranger with a beautiful damsel like you. I don't want to have anything to do with you sexually. But I want to love and cherish you.” That sounded surprising. “I am not sexually attractive?!” I arched my brows at him. He sighed and he came closer to me. “You are more than sexually attractive to me. But I can't afford to do anything with you, because another man has gotten in-between your legs.”I felt broken-hearted after hearing him speak those words. “Is that why you were harsh earlier?” Sabastian nodded his head. “Yes. I can't just deal with the reality of having to marry a divorcee just to please my father. I feel pained and unhappy.” I felt bruised by those words. My mistake from five years ago brought this upon me. “I am sorry I brought this pain on you.” Sabastian sighed and he held my hands. “I know I spoke cruelly to you earlier. I am sorry, it won't happen again. I promise to love and cherish you more than any other man did.” His promises held my heart with surprise. My lips molded with smiles. “In this case, Couples do have a honeymoon, would you love us to go on an outing instead?” My body doesn't want an outing. I don't know what was wrong with me, but I realized I am craving to have him. I replied sharply. “I want us to go on a honeymoon.” Sabastian glared at me with surprise.
