The clouds under the wings of the airplane expanded as far as the eye could see. Tory could not help but get lost in its vastness. She imagined the wings disappearing, allowing her the float in the air. The peace and calm it provided were intoxicating, enough to allow her worries to be forgotten. She was pulled back when a warm sensation filled her hand. With a gentle turn of her neck, she found the seat beside her empty.
