CHAPTER SIXTEEN

“Here!” Jonas, said handing the camera he borrowed last night back.

“Thanks.” I said with a smile after receiving it.

“By the way have you eaten your breakfast yet?  Jonas asked, and I just shake my head as a response.

“Then, let’s have breakfast together at BV&V!” Jonas said with full of excitement specially when mentioning the name of the restaurant where we ate our lunch together yesterday.

I can’t help but to snort and rolled my eyes at Jonas’s excitement and at the same time chuckle, for if I know, he just wanted to see Vera, the handsome waiter we saw yesterday, again.

“Okay deal, but in one condition.” I said grinning, while wriggling my brows to him, so he will know what kind of condition I am thinking.

What?! You can’t blame me thinking of how I am going get a free breakfast. I’m broke, and I know Jonas is willing to treat me.

Just kidding, about the free, though I always like that word free or either treat, but not  all the time. I don’t want to take advantage of others generosity. Now, I am just testing Jonas, and if he will go and agree, then I have no other choice but to accept if, because as I have said, I like free and treat word.

Jonas look at me, and rolled his eyes after. His favorite expression expression.

“Yeah! Yeah! I know. My treat…” Jonas said as his gaze is asking me if I am satisfied.

“Psh…” I can’t but to snort again.

“I’m just kidding… Come on! Let’s  go, I’m freaking hungry, I forgot to eat dinner last night.” I said rubbing my stomach as it starting to grumble.

“And who was fault is that?” Jonas asked teasingly while grinning.

“Mine! But you can’t blame me. By sleep is too essential to me.” I replied pouting.

“Psh.” Jonas scoff.

Jonas was about to speak again when my stomach made a loud grumble, and the next thing I knew I was being drag to the BV&V.

But when we are about to enter the restaurant, I heard someone calling my name from behind, and so is Jonas.

“Avey!” I heard that voice called, so I turn my back to see who is it, but what greeted me is a hug attack that made me almost lose my balance.

“Bri! My gosh you surprise me!” I said with surprise as I regain my balance again.

But, instead of answering me, Bri just giggle, before separating herself from me, and saw her mouth fell as her gaze turn from behind, and when I turn behind, Jonas is there.

“Who is that hot guy with you, Ave?” I heard Brianna asked with the hint of giggle in her voice, and when I turn my gaze back to her, I saw her eyes twinkling as she stare at Jonas, while smiling sheepishly.

And when I turn to look at Jonas again I saw him secretly rolled his eyes, because of the way that Brianna’s is staring at him, that made me force not to laugh, specially when his face became sour.

“By the way, Brianna, this is my friend and mentor, Jonas. And Jonas, my new found friend and one of the owner of this restaurant, Bri.” I said introducing them to each other.

After they said, nice to meet you’s to each other. We decided to enter the restaurant, only to be greeted by a girl in a chef uniform, busy commanding the staff with full of authority, that even I, got intimidated by that girl.

“I-I think, the restaurant is still closed,” I said turning my gaze to Jonas. “Let’s go and eat somewhere else for now, we can just eat later.”

“Nope, the restaurant, will be open in just 5 minutes, that’s why Viviane is like that. She really oath to perfect everything before we came to open this restaurant.” Brianna replied, instead of Jonas, while looking at the girl she mentioned named, Viviane.

And before I speak again to ask, Brianna called Viviane that took the girls attention.

“Hey! We have customers here already, aren’t you still finished?” Brianna asked while Viviane came to approach her.

Viviane and Brianna is almost look a like, that can’t be notice easily unless you will look at them carefully. Brianne has a creamy type of skin, while Viviane has a tan, but the tan skin really suit to her latina beauty, and other than that, Viviane is also similar to Gene who was a boyish aura, while Brianna is a girly one.

“Good Morning!” Viviane greeted, with a sweet warm smile that made the intimidating aura I felt disappeared.
