Episode1
On a chilling night, a man walked alone, his footsteps echoing through the darkness. The only light came from the garden lamps and the full moon overhead, casting long shadows on the ground. He walked with a sense of unease, his senses heightened as he navigated the deserted streets.
That night, he had just gotten home from his shift as a barista at a downtown coffee shop. Darren, this 19-year-old guy, was known for being fearless - nothing scared him, not even ghosts. People often said he was brave and unafraid of anything that came his way.
But tonight felt different. The hairs on the back of Darren's neck were standing on end, and he'd been getting this weird, creepy feeling that something was watching him ever since he got off the bus.
Besides that, Darren had also been hearing wolf howls a few times, but whenever he tried to find the source, he came up empty-handed. It was even weirder considering he lived in a small town where nobody kept wolves as pets, so there was no logical explanation for the howls.
Darren took deep breaths to calm himself down, trying to shake off the fear. Sometimes, he'd glance over his shoulder, checking if anyone was following him. Despite his attempts to shake off the feeling, his instincts screamed that he was being stalked and was in real danger. The darkness seemed to close in around him, making him feel even more anxious and on edge.
Darren shoved his hands into the pockets of his gray hoodie and pulled up the hood to cover his head, all while continuing to walk at a brisk pace.
Darren glanced at his watch on his left wrist, which read 1:30 AM. He was used to coming home at that hour, but he knew the neighborhood would be deserted after 10 PM. Still, he hoped to run into someone so he could ask for help and feel a bit safer.
But unfortunately, Darren still hadn’t seen anyone. The sound of footsteps behind him was getting closer, sometimes moving into the bushes. Darren couldn’t even guess what was following him, all he knew was that he needed to quicken his pace, or maybe even run.
Yes, as his anxiety and fear grew, Darren finally started to run. And whatever had been stalking him seemed to match his pace, keeping up with his footsteps.
Soon after, Darren’s feet froze as he suddenly stumbled upon three wolves standing right in front of him. Their piercing gazes locked onto him, and he knew they were ready to pounce at any moment.
"Get away! "Don't bother me!" Darren shouted, his voice trembling.
The three wolves began to creep closer to Darren. Darren, not wanting to be eaten, took off his backpack and threw it at the wolves before turning around and running.
Unfortunately, the wolves' steps were faster than Darren's. In seconds, they caught up to him and viciously tore him to pieces.
“Hey, stop. This is not what we came here for,” said one of the wolves.
One of the wolves who was still busy eating Darren turned his head, “You’re even enjoyed it.”
“Come on, stop talking. Let’s go.”
The wolves finally walked away, leaving Darren's body lying alone and cold.

A street vendor who was heading to the market to buy ingredients for his needs was shocked to see someone lying on the roadside, covered in blood.
With a frightened face, the man tried to approach Darren's corpse slowly.
“Oh my god, Darren?!” the man cried out, shocked. He shook with horror at the sight of Darren's lifeless body, covered in wounds and bleeding profusely. "Help! There's a body here!" he yelled.
Several people who had just stepped out of their homes immediately ran towards the man upon hearing his screams.
They were shocked together as they realized what they were seeing. A gruesome sight on an otherwise bright and cheerful morning.
"What's going on, Uncle Cole?" a woman asked the man named Cole, who had first discovered Darren's body.
Still with a frightened expression, the man shook his head, “I don’t know. When I was walking to the market, I was shocked when I saw Darren lying lifeless.”
“Isn't that a bite wound?" one of the men who had rushed to Cole's side asked.
"Yes, it looks like wounds from a wild animal's bite."
“But what kind of animal? We don't have any wild animals in this area, do we?"
Cole shook his head, "I don't know, but we definitely need to call the police first to handle this case."
“Yes, you're right. Let's report this incident to the police."

A woman wearing a white shirt and long pants began to step out of her house, carrying three breakfast containers.
The woman's name is Alice. She is a student at one of the most famous universities in the United States. In this small town, Alice lives alone while her parents are on assignment abroad.
In the neighborhood, aside from being known for her beauty, Alice was also known for being very friendly and kind-hearted. She would even make breakfast for a few people she knew quite well.
While busy putting the lunch boxes into the bag, Alice turned her head when she saw a man come out of his house. With all the lunch boxes in the bag, Alice immediately came out of her house to approach him.
“Oh, good morning, Hans!” Alice greeted with a warm smile.
Hans, having just locked his door, turned and smiled back at Alice, "Good morning, Alice."
“Have you had breakfast?" Alice asked while pulling out a food container from her tote bag. "Take this," Alice said as she handed a food container to Hans.
“This is the third time you've made breakfast for me. Don't you find it troublesome?" Hans asked, taking the container.
Alice chuckled, "Hey, it's the third time, but you're still feeling awkward. If I have time, I'll definitely make breakfast for you. So don't worry."
“Did you see it? It was absolutely terrifying," a boy said.
Alice and Hans glanced over as three boys passed by, deep in discussion.
“That's the most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my life."
"Yeah, me too. My mom told me the guy got bitten by a wolf."
"Really? If so, where did the wolf come from?"
"I don't know. But I'm sure I heard some wolf howls last night when I woke up to go to the bathroom.”
That was what Alice and Hans heard. "What were they just talking about?" Alice asked, turning her gaze back to Hans.
Hans shrugged, "No idea, it sounded like they were talking about wolves."
Then, several people quickly walked towards the scene where Darren lay lifeless. Alice, feeling curious, began to step out of her yard to see what was happening.
Alice's brow furrowed as she watched from afar, seeing a crowd of people and police cars gathering at one spot.
“Good morning, Alice," said a woman who was about to pass in front of Alice's house to head towards the scene.
Alice turned and smiled when she saw it was Aunt Ann, the owner of the small house she was staying in, "Aunt Ann. Good morning. I made breakfast for you," Alice said, handing her a food container.
“Ah, thank you. You know, almost all the neighbors are jealous because you're so kind and always send me breakfast," Ann replied with a chuckle.
Alice chuckled, "If only I had enough for everyone here, I'd make breakfast for them too. By the way, what's going on over there? Why are there so many police cars?" Alice asked.
"Ah, that.. I'm not sure yet, but from what I've heard, people are saying Darren was killed by a wild animal."
"What?! Darren?!" Alice exclaimed, "What kind of wild animal could have attacked him?"
Ann shrugged and shook her head slightly, "I don't know, but people are saying it was a wolf."
"A wolf?" Hans, who had overheard the conversation between Alice and Ann, stepped closer to them. "Isn't our town far from wolf habitats?" Hans asked.
“That's what we're still wondering. But some people believe it was a werewolf.”
Alice giggled, "Aunt Ann, you're joking, right? Werewolves are just mythical creatures from books and movies. They don't exist in real life."
"I have my doubts," Ann said with a smile. "Shall we go take a look at the scene? I'm curious to know what's really going on."
"Want to join us, Hans?" Alice asked, looking at Hans before walking off with Ann.
Hans glanced at the watch on his left wrist before looking back at Alice, "I don't think I can. Won't you be late for class?" Hans asked.
“I've got time to spare. You go on ahead, Aunt Ann and I are going to check it out and get to the bottom of things."
Hans nodded, and they parted ways in front of Alice's house. Alice headed north with Ann, while Hans went west.
