She knew that she will see her very soon but she did not expect it to be so soon. She smiled and said, "Mrs Earnshaw, what a wonderful surprise. I was not expecting to see you. How have you been?"
Mrs Earnshaw said, "I am doing well my baby and how are you?"
She replied, "I am fine too. You can come in."
Mrs Earnshaw said, "no dear, I will not come in because what I want to say will be very short. Can you come join us for dinner tonight?"
She was not shocked to hear her ask this. She knew that there will be a day like this, she just wasn't expecting it to be so soon. She saw the way Brandon was behaving that day.
He behaved like someone that still wanted to stay a little bit longer with her. But he started a conversation that she was not really ready to discuss.
