Punishment

Riley stiffened unsure what to say, knowing if she didn't answer Luna Renae would force her to. She gulped and nervously turned around taking in the Luna's cold narrowed eyes and hands firmly placed on her slim hips as she glared down at Riley. "It was a prank" she said quietly "Marcus set up the paint so that I would get covered when I walked into his room. I've cleaned the majority of it" she said thickly trying not to cry "but I can't get it out of the carpet." She stared down at the floor miserably. Riley had tried to be as quick as possible but there had been so much to clean that it had taken a lot longer than she'd envisioned and she still wasn’t finished. Luna Renae snorted "I don't believe you" she said snidely "you clearly decided to ruin his room and blame him" she hissed "my son is going to be Alpha soon and doesn't have time for such childish antics or pranks let alone waste his time with someone as weak and pitiful as you.” Riley said nothing. Whatever she said, truth or otherwise she knew Luna Renae and Alpha Gordon wouldn't believe it. They never did. Turning a blind eye towards their only child and ignoring any complaints or comments on his behaviour. As far as they were concerned Marcus was an angel and no one would ever change their opinion on that. Riley had never seen two people so delusional or so blind when it came to their child. "Training ring in five minutes" the Luna said and Riley's heart sank. She glanced back at the cleaning "one of the other omegas can clean up the mess you made" she snapped, turning around and storming off." Riley got up and reluctantly began to follow, wanting to prolong making it to the training ring and knowing that she couldn't. Five minutes wasn't very long to get there and she sighed as she jogged until she was there, the Luna waiting hands folded, Alpha Gordon beside her and an amused Marcus looking at her with glee, a small smile on his face. He also had clearly just gotten back from school. his backpack thrown to one side. "Apologize to Marcus" thundered Alpha Gordon's voice and she flinched, bitterly moving to the boy who was sniggering at her predicament. Even being wolf less Riley couldn't ignore the Alpha command and she stopped in front of Marcus and muttered "I apologise Marcus for lying" she said between gritted teeth as he gave a chuckle only she could hear. "Because you lied about our son, Marcus will be in charge of your punishment" Alpha Gordon declared and Riley's heart sank, the urge to beg for them to not do this on the tip of her tongue, desperation in her eyes as they turned and left without another word. "So let's get started shall we" Marcus's eyes darkened in anticipation as he rubbed his hands together and she looked down at the floor in misery. "You need to lose weight anyhow fatty" he shouted, forcing her to run endless circles, watching without mercy as she vomited up what little was in her stomach before making her continue. He kept her out for hours, doing running, push ups, squats and literally making her crawl back and forth 'like the dog she was.' Riley was exhausted and beyond humiliated. The running had been bad enough especially on what little food she got but he'd used his foot on top of her as he counted her push ups firmly pushing her down over and over again and forcing her head into the grass on several occasions. The squats were horrendous. Marcus had deliberately stepped behind her the entire time, his breath on her neck as she fought the urge to scream, his hands pinching her whenever she didn't go low enough to his liking. As for the crawling? He'd fashioned his tie that he wore to school around her neck and led her back and forth around the ring, his taunts getting more derogatory as he called her a bitc*, a slave, a dog, fat ass, a mutt that needed putting down and whatever other vile things he could think of. Riley had never hated anyone as much as she hated him in that moment. By the time it was all done Riley lay on the grass, shivering wildly as it began to rain, Marcus openly laughing at her as he grabbed his backpack and spat beside her before trotting off, unconcerned about her getting up or back to the pack house. Riley closed her eyes. Every muscle in her body was screaming in pain, her whole body feeling faint and stiff, the coldness seeping into her very bones. Her chest was tight, burning as she struggled to breathe, the rain beginning to pour down on her in spades. Riley forced herself to her knees, crying openly now. Every time she so much as moved, her muscles protested and when she finally managed to stand, she swayed back and forth wondering if she would even manage the walk back. She grimaced and forced one foot in front of the other, mouth in a thin line, her clothes clinging to her as she blinked, blindly wandering in the direction she thought the pack house was, the rain pounding down so hard it was difficult to see. She considered giving up, lying on the grass and just letting the rain pour over her. But if she did no one would come looking for her. No one would care if she died of pneumonia from the cold. Even her own parent's didn't care what happened to her she thought bitterly. No Riley was on her own, completely at the mercy of this pack and it's members. It wasn't the first time she'd been punished and the majority of them involved physical exercise until she collapsed with of course vile taunts coming from whoever was in charge of it. But there'd been other stuff as well. Her starvation, being hit when the Luna and Alpha weren't present, subtle kicks under tables as she served them. The list was endless. Would this ever end? Riley saw the pack house coming into view, only a few feet in front of her, almost sobbing again in relief, barely making it down to her basement, a cold shaking hand turning the knob that led to it and making it downstairs as best she could until she finally collapsed on the cold concrete floor, completely losing consciousness the second she let go of the door. A blue light engulfed her as she lay there, one that healed the major wounds and allowed her to continue to live as Riley lay, oblivious to her own power that had yet to reveal itself to her completely.
