When Jordan mentioned "Someone planned this...someone close."
A chill ran down my spine and my thoughts instantly drifted to my mother.
She never hid her dislike for Jordan and even though she had promised to drop the charges, It was still hard for me to trust her again. After everything that had happened between us for a while now, the secrets, the lies, all of it.
I shook off the thought. She would not go as far as almost harming his family.
Another face flashed in my mind, Gabriel Cross. The way he wanted to know everything about Jordan, his questions and tone made him a suspect too, plus he never liked Jordan either.
