Elara's POV The way Jordan's mum had warned me off like I was some kind of plague clinging to her son. She was only trying to protect him and that was understood but it did not stop the sting. Although, Jordan's release was something to be grateful for. He was out and safe, that was all that mattered to me. My fingers dug into my hair as I paced the station, my mind raced with questions, each one piling over the other, all unanswered. My eyes settled on a uniformed officer walking by so my legs moved fast. "Excuse me!" Waving my hands in the air, I rushed towards the officer.
