When I get to my office, I sit down and pick up the phone. Alpha Nicholas has always been a close ally to the Sapphire Moon pack. I have gone to his balls for unmated pack over the past couple of years hoping to find my mate, but this year I was not going to be able to attend with all the trouble on the border of the pack lands. " Alpha Nicholas what can I do for you today?" I replied over the phone. "I am calling to see if yo have information regarding to the taking of female pack members along the borders. Recently we have been having trouble along the border with the Scarlet River pack and it escalated a couple of weeks ago when he took my father's Beta's daughter. While we were out dealing with trouble along the border, their Alpha and five warriors slipped into our lands and attacked two girls by our lake. One of the girls was able to escape while the other one stayed to fight them off. The one who stayed had mindlinked to her father and informed him what was happening, but by the time we finished with the ones at the border, there was no trace of her or the Scarlet Moon pack" said Alpha Nicholas. I realized after he said all this that our pack was not the only ones being targeted by the Scarlet Moon pack. After thinking about this, I said, " We have been having the same issues for a while now, but luckily, none of our pack members have disappeared. Have you received any demands from Alpha Colin regarding the taken girl?" As I am listening to him. I wonder why he would take a newly turned 18-year-old girl, but then he tells me that she was not the real target but her friend. " Can you get in touch with some of your sources that your Beta has in the Scarlet River pack and find out all you can concerning this problem and let me know?" asks Alpha Nicholas. " I will have my Beta Simon contact his cousins immediately and see what information we can gather to help get the girl back to you and in the meantime let me know if you need any assistance to try a rescue let us know" i tell him. We hung up and I mindlinked Simon and told him to come to my office. It took him a few minutes to get there, so I assume he was out on the training field working off his huge breakfast.

As soon as I heard a knock on the door, I bade Simon to enter. " Did you need me, Alpha?' said Simon. I then proceed to tell him all I learned from Alpha Nicholas. As I start going over the reports, Simon calls his cousin in the Scarlet Moon pack to see if they have heard any news of this new development. I hear Simon as he is discussing the information. An angry look appeared on his face. Done with the phone call, Simon hangs up his phone and gives me a scowl. i give him a questioning look as he says" The bastard apparently beat the girl before they left the lake because she was unconscious when she was brought in. He then proceeded to have them put her in a cell in silver chains to control her wolf. He gave orders for her to not be given any food except for bread and water." What is he trying to kill her?" I asked Simon. "No, he appeared to be trying to get her to submit to becoming his s*x slave. For the rest of the morning, I contacted other Alphas in the area to make plans for a meeting to help Alpha Nicholas. After everything was set in place for a meeting of the Alphas, I left my office and headed to my bedroom to change for some intense training.
