His Unforgettable Mate

Ally POV My name is Allison Sherwood and i come from the pack known as the Silver Lake moon pack. Today was my 16th birthday and tonight was to be our first shift. For the past few years, she has been close to my wolf, Safera. I knew that this was the most important day of my life so far. I would not find her mate for a couple of years. My parents decided that instead of throwing me a party to celebrate my birthday, they would let me spend the day with my best friend Molly. Molly was the sweetest person I knew and would do anything for anyone who needed her help. Molly will not be 16 for a couple of months. It was already 9am in the morning and past time to get up to start my day out with Molly. After a trip to the mall, we were planning on going to the lake and having some fun. I am the only child of her parents that was still living at home. My older brother Zane has become the new Alpha of the Sacred hills moon pack. He was the fated mate of the previous Alpha's daughter and she only wished them the best. After lying in bed for a few minutes more, my mother Beth hollers up at me that I had better hurry before I am too late to pick up Molly. I get up and rush into the shower before my mother hollers at me again. After my shower,I go to her closet to get dressed. SI had already decided that I would wear her new jean shorts and a blue tank top to the mall. I dressed, then ran downstairs to the kitchen where mom was cooking breakfast. My dad was the first one to see me when I walked in. "Happy Birthday sweetie, Are you running late this morning?" my dad asked me. My dad, Jacob, was once the Beta for the old Apha before he was killed. Since then, he has helped train the new warriors of the pack. "Yeah dad, I have been running a bit behind since I wanted to stay up late last night," I told him. Most nights I can be found at Molly's house or Molly at my house. We have been inseparable since we were 5 years old. As I started to walk out the door, mom asked " Do you want me to fix you something to eat to take with you on the way?' I told her " we can get something to eat at the mall." Mom "OK honey and don't forget you need to be back here by 9 pm tonight." Ok mom i will," I tell her as i walk out the door. I got to Molly's a few minutes later. Molly must have been waiting for me because she opened the door before I could even knock. " I have been waiting for you to get here for over 30 minutes. Did you oversleep again?' Molly always knows me better than anyone else. "Yes I overslept last night but we were up late talking about what we would do today." I told her as I walked in. "By the way, is your brother still driving us today?" I asked " Yes he is and your late. Lets hope that he is still willing?" Molly says. Molly turned to head upstairs to ask while i waited for her. When she returns, her brother is behind her looking irritated. "OK, girls, where do we go first today?" Miles, her brother, asked. "I thought we would head to the mall for a while before heading to the lake" says Molly. " How about i drop you two there and come get you in a couple hours" suggests Mles. "That sounds great" says Ally. We go to the car and we are on our way for an amazing day. We spend a couple of hours at the mall, going into almost every store. As promised, Miles came back to get us after a couple of hours. By the time we arrive at the lake, a lot of people are already there. While Miles goes and hangs out with his friends, Molly and I decide to take a swim and then sunbathe for a time before we have to leave for me to make it home by 9pm. Marcus POV My name is Marcus Chandler. As the Alpha of the Sapphire Moon pack, I rarely get a day to myself. I have been in pack meetings all week forming alliances with the surrounding packs. I recently turned 22 years old and took over as Alpha a few years ago. One of the new alliances I made was with the Green Hills Moon pack. The Alpha of that pack took over a year ago for the old Alpha when he mated with the Alpha's daughter. Jase has become a close ally to me in the past few months. I have yet to find my mate. Today is a rare day as I get to go relax at the lake with a couple of friends of mine who have not found their mate either. It was late when we reached the lake. My Beta Simon and our friend Mathew want to have a couple of beers and relax with a couple of girls that were supposed to be there tonight. As we got out of our SUV, I smelled the faint aroma of lavender and wild strawberries. I knew instantly my mate must be here somewhere for my wolf Ronan was starting to scream mate over and over in my head. We have been waiting for years to meet our mate. Ronan says to me" Where is Mate? We must find Mate." I stopped moving and looked around but did not find my mate. Ronan and I will know our mate when we see her. Simon and Mathew were ahead of me and almost to the edge of the lake when they realized I was not beside them. Simon turns around first and asks "what is wrong, Alpha? " As I scan those around us, I do not sense my mate among them. I told Simon " My mate has been here but I do not sense her, but there was a faint smell telling me that she was here." "Really Simon, we will help you look for her." says Mathew. As we continued to look around, I soon realized that my mate was no longer near. Ally POV We arrived at my house a couple of minutes before 9pm. I hurried into the house to get changed. My mom greets us by saying "Ally, you better hurry up and get ready. We leave for the clearing in 30 minutes for your first shift. " I nodded at her on my way to my room.In my room, mom had played out my dress for tonight on my bed. This is one of the most important nights of my life. My parents were the only ones I wanted with me tonight to witness my shift. I put my dress on and went to look in my mirror. I'm very satisfied with how the dress looks on me. The dress is beautiful with its indigo blue satin with lace on the trim in the same color to match my eyes. My eyes go perfectly with my blond hair that falls to my waist. After one final look in the mirror, I turned to leave my room. At the entrance to the living room, I stop and tell my parents that I'm ready to go. When they turned around and saw me, my mom had tears in her eyes. " Are you ready to go and meet Safera honey?" "Yes mom, I am and can't wait to meet her. We got into the car and headed out. The clearing was 15 minutes from our house. When we got to the clearing, I noticed my parents had already been there to set up for my shift. They hung a sheet up near for me to undress so no one would see me. My mom takes me behind the sheet and I start to undress. Mom then proceeds to tell me " just relax and let Safera take the lead during the shift." I start to take deep breaths when Safera asks " Are you ready to finally become one and see what we look like?' I tell her "Yes, I have been waiting for this moment our entire life." I give over to Safera and I feel my bone breaking as we begin to shift. I was warned of the pain but did not realize it would be this much. Finally, we finished our shift and I heard my mom's swift intake of breath. I turned around when she said " Oh Ally, you are the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen with your pure white fur and your indigo eyes. I came out from behind the sheet and saw that my dad had already shifted into his wolf Jase. I hear my mom shifting behind me into her wolf Bella. My dad mindlinks to me and asks " Are you ready for your first run? We have been waiting a long time for this." I nodded and said " I would like to do nothing more than run."
