Chapter Nine: Sinah

. . . . . . (late June) I woke up when the afternoon sun peeked between my curtains, shining in my eyes. At some point, Aiden must have woken up, because we were covered by a blanket and were spooning, his arms wrapped possessively around my waist while he slept. I twisted my body carefully in his arms so I could face him, admiring his features in the light. No one ever remembers to tell you how sore you would be after your first time. Why warn girls about two seconds of pain during the act, when they should warn you that it feels like a kick in the stomach the next day? I giggled softly and Aiden stirred. He took a deep breath and his arms almost crushed me against him. I felt his lips begin to kiss their way up my shoulder, making me shiver. "No! I need to recover!" I squirmed in his arms frantically. He let go of me and rolled onto his back, his chest shaking with suppressed laughter. "It's not funny!" I threw a pillow at him, he caught it before it hit him and flipped it under his head. His dark eyes made me shiver again and his lips twitched into a smirk. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Bad choice. Heat shot through my body; all I could smell was our lovemaking. I moaned involuntarily and clapped my hands over my mouth, my eyes flying open in embarrassment. He laughed out loud and swung his legs off the side of the bed, giving me a perfect view of his rock-hard ass as he stretched his body tall. He paused for a moment and his eyes clouded over. I assumed he was speaking to his wolf, so I waited patiently for his eyes to focus on me again and lifted my arms to him as soon as they did. "I need a shower, and so do you." He nodded in agreement and scooped me off the bed like I was nothing. I had forgotten how strong alpha wolves were. The ease with which he could lift and carry me was sparking several bad ideas I suddenly wanted to try. He seemed to pick up on my thoughts, turning his dark green eyes to mine, a crooked smirk on his face and I blushed. I had expected him to let me stand on my own while we showered, but he had other ideas. We managed to confirm at least three of my bad ideas during our shower. By the time my clïmax took me, I didn't care how sore I was; it was worth every ache. Somehow, we also managed to actually clean ourselves before the hot water ran out. The rapidly cooling water drove us out of the shower before we could work on Bad Idea Number Four. He wrapped a towel around me and grabbed a second one for himself, but he carried me back to my bed and set me down before tying it around his hips. I tucked my good leg under me as I toweled my hair, watching as he scanned my room slowly. I was pleasantly surprised when he asked for my permission before opening my drawers. I couldn't help but grin as he considered my collection of undergarments and I decided not to tell him I usually don't even look. I just put on the first ones I grab, but I was curious what he would pick for me. "Ha!" I wasn't expecting him to laugh, but he pulled out my leopard print bra and panty set and tossed them to me with another laugh. "Wear those ones, please? Heh heh." He chuckled to himself the whole way over to my closet, examining its contents with a crooked grin. Of course, my leopard bra was also my only push-up bra. I closed my eyes and quickly prayed he didn't pick a V-neck shirt, so we had a chance of making it out of my room without having sëx again. I thanked the Goddess just as quickly when he pulled a cropped baby doll shirt out of the closet, still chuckling. The shirt had an overly cute cartoon cat on it and I was starting to sense a theme. I sighed at him, making him look at me sheepishly. "I have a poodle skirt that matches this shirt. In my dresser, third drawer." His eyes almost glittered when he realized I was encouraging him. The skirt was cute, alternating between the cartoon cat and little paw prints along the bottom hem. I pointed out a pair of knee socks and tall boots that looked good with the outfit and let him carry me from my bed to my chair. There was a soft knock as soon as I was settled, which Aiden seemed to be expecting, since the door just opened and Bryce strode in. He was wearing one of Lilian's 'comfy shirts', the kind that's at least two sizes too big. Well, it looked like he'd painted this one on, every contour of his abs in perfect detail. It was dark blue and had a picture of a wolf howling at the moon on it. He was also wearing a pair of her yoga pants, dark gray with a blue stripe down the leg, and I'm pretty sure those were also her sandals. I realized he was looking at my outfit with the same curiosity, and Aiden was staring at him with a huge grin. ]"Gigi would murder you."[ I blinked as they managed to speak in perfect unison. The two roared with laughter, hanging onto each other's shoulders. I didn't know what the joke was, but I was looking forward to finding out. They managed to calm themselves down after a moment and Bryce handed Aiden some clothes. "She said this is the only thing she has that might fit your shoulders." My hands shot up to my mouth and I gasped, my eyes huge as I recognized the shirt Aiden was accepting. "LILIAN ELIZABETH!!" The boys flinched at my shriek and went on full alert. Lilian's hysterical laughter from the kitchen was clearly not what they expected next, but I didn't bother to explain. I rolled towards the kitchen where I found Lilian leaning against the wall, trying to hide her blush behind her hands and giggling like a schoolgirl. "How DARE you not tell me! When?! What happened?! Details! NOW!" I was practically vibrating in my chair with excitement about this story. Lilian let herself slide down the wall and wrapped her arms around her knees, sighing dreamily. "Last Friday, after he walked us home. You went to bed as soon as we got home. You made that tiered cake for Mrs. Feldstein, and were just beat." I nodded and leaned forward, cradling my chin in my hands, my cheeks already hurt from grinning. "We were sitting on the sofa just talking about nothing and he totally pulled 'The Yawn'." We both dissolved into giggles, that was possibly the cheesiest move on the planet. "I would have ruined it." I wiped a tear from my eye. "I would have laughed in his face; I don't care how cute he is." I had the sudden image of Aiden trying to pull such a move pop into my head and I burst into laughter. Lilian giggled as I pointed towards my bedroom and she choked on a laugh. She must have thought the same thing I had. "I almost did!" Lilian sighed and giggled again, her blush creeping back onto her cheeks, and she closed her eyes. "I don't know what came over me instead. I practically pounced on him. Like it was now or never, and I did NOT want to lose my chance. I literally ripped the buttons on his shirt off, that's why he left it behind. I told him I'd fix it." Her cheeks blazed suddenly. "And... you know..." I giggled, I'm not sure if I could bring myself to describe last night in detail to her either. My cheeks felt like they were on fire suddenly and we both tittered vacuously. "I am so happy for you! Why didn't you tell me right away?" I pouted at her, and she got off the floor so she could hug me. "Yeah, how the hell was I supposed to start that conversation?" I scoffed. " 'OMG, I banged Kyle last night and it was everything I could have dreamed' would have worked fine." My vision blurred suddenly, and I felt like I was looking at everything through a haze. /:Rhys.:/ I blinked at the voice in my mind. It said it as a statement, not a question, and my thoughts shifted to the golden wolf from the night before. /:Very good. Now think TO me.:/ /:What?:/ /:Excellent! You learn fast.:/ /:Huh?:/ /:You are mated to Aiden, I can access your mind now, even without your wolf here. Your wolf can do the same to Aiden as well.:/ /:But-:/ /:Later. For now, I would like to remind you that we are still in your room, and none of us are willing to walk into the conversation you two are having.:/ If I hadn't been blushing before, I was now. I didn't think about the fact that both guys would be able to hear Lilian perfectly. Poor guys, nothing like accidentally eavesdropping on a girl trying to describe her first time. I snickered suddenly and winked at Lilian. "By the way..." I laughed and she rolled her eyes at me, grinning. "Oh, you don't have to tell ME." She shook her finger at me. "You two were LOUD." Bryce's laughter roared through the apartment, followed by a moment of mayhem. He practically FLEW down the hallway, then he vaulted the kitchen table and was out the front door far faster than a human should have been able to, laughing hysterically the whole time. Aiden was hot on his heels, growling furiously. I froze. Lilian just watched them go. Calmly, I noticed. I narrowed my eyes at her. . . . . . .
