Fort
Free of my womanly wiles, Bear and Dancer still have no objections going to the Fort. We don’t leave right away, we spend two more days searching the woods for outlaws, but they’re nowhere to be found. Hopefully, no one else will find them either, since no one should be looking. The Seekers have Lanky and a story about the lost gems. We give up, buy four horses and leave.
The Fort is nearby. Maybe two day’s ride away if we push it. It’s on the lands of a noble family whose ancestors made a shady deal with a clan of assassins a few generations back. The land is on a plateau in a secluded area, and it’s enormous.
