Zasha was not shy and loved to be the centre of attention. She was like Rae in many ways, but this part of her was not one of their similarities. Rae was confident and self-assured, but not keen to be the focal point.
Zasha cleared her throat. “You know without doubt Eero and I are special, as are Rae and Malachi. We are connected like no other. For centuries we have waited for the perfect moment, the right couple, and the precise time at which we were needed to fulfill our destiny. I stayed dormant so I could protect her and keep her safe.
