Marley and I were both stunned by Max’s revelation. Having and meeting your mate is ingrained in us as wolves, as the completion of yourself. I couldn’t understand why someone, especially Max, someone with Alpha blood and stronger inclinations, would not want that or feel the desire for it.
“I’m a warrior. Imagine how hard it would be to go to fight, leaving the woman you love and your family behind. Saying goodbye each time and not knowing if you would ever see them again.
