Malachi’s POV
Marley and I managed to get Mattie into the car. I was worried about him. Whatever he did, had completely drained him. He was pale and had a slight tremor in his hands. When we got him home, we put him straight to bed, and he slept until the morning.
Marley returned with Lottie late in the evening with Max. We had moved Marley’s and Lottie’s things into their new apartment and after being mauled by Mum and saying a quick hello to everyone, they went straight there to settle in.
