I sat in a bench outside my little garden and thought about how life had treated me. I lost both my brothers in a war against Gatrish and still blamed my father for sending them both to fight the bloodthirsty King Damon. My name is Nyx, daughter of Lothaire and Irene, two powerful witches but also the king and Queen of Maebeth. We who are witches find it thrilling to live among humans because we find their nature weak and vulnerable but also we use them as an excuse to get out of our realm which was starting to bore us out. Other creatures took this opportunity and followed without even thinking twice and now the human world is flooded with demons, werewolves, vampires and witches. Werewolves and vampires have no problems with each other but the witches and demons never agreed. This also being one of the reasons why Maebeth and Gatrish were at war, My father Lotharie is one the most powerful witches and Damon on the other hand was one the most powerful demon known to history. This two have been at each others throats since the migration of supernatural beings into the human world. This caused a lot of fighting and leading to deaths of both humans,demons and witches. The last time a war broke out, dad managed to wipe out Damon's whole family and that is why he retaliated and killed both my brothers in the battle ground and personally bringing their heads back to us. Other kingdoms like Decresh were owned by demons but kingdoms like Altava and Vandal are owned by vampires while others like Mauro-Roman kingdom,Kingdom of the Auŕes and Rustamid Dynasty belonged to werewolves. Numidia, Mauretania Caesariensis and Emirate of tiemcen were still owned by powerful humans. Numidia however has caught the eyes of the King of Decresh, Belial, who has already planned to overthrown Adam,the king of Numidia. Meanwhile, mauretania has not been neared because it is ruled by a man who rescued and has a fallen angel in his home ready to destroy any body who tries to disturb their peace. I stood up immediately after realising that my father watched me from a distance with his emerald green eyes which I was lucky to inherit. He walked up to me seeing the sad look on my face and he said" I'm sorry for sending them, I had no choice but to do just that, I started noticing the army general talking about how over protective I am over two fully grown men so I had to" he explained in length. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes and said" I'll miss them" but he just pulled me into his arms as I sobbed uncontrollably.
