The monster within

Cursed child. On 13 March in the kingdom of nightingale a mysterious fog swayed and swirled in the empty streets giving the beautiful and peaceful kingdom of Nightingale an ominous appearance with shadows lurking behind every corner. Near the middle of the kingdom stood a big beautiful church a place of spiritual guidance deep within the hallway a door leading to the sacred chambers of the kingdoms prophet she was fast asleep dreaming. In the dream she was teleported to a distinct timeline the beloved kingdom in ruins the once peaceful streets stained with blood the bawling and shrieking of innocent women and children being able to be heard from a mile away. The prophet walked down an empty streets trembling her heart pounding inside her chest.She turned a corner and felt her blood run cold as she saw innocent warriors trying to protect their family members being ripped apart blood splattering every where.The shadow monster noticing her and walk closer she backed away to only be caught by something else.She look up and saw a handsome young man with a menacing smile and emotionless ruby red eyes and the mark of the demon king. "Are you ready to die?"He asked his voice sharp and emotionless. The prophet woke up trembling and covered in cold sweat.she knew she had to find and kill soon to be demon king. In a house a beautiful woman who was in her early thirties was giving birth. Margaret had long smooth honey blonde hair and ocean blue eyes struggling through the pain to welcome her youngest son into the world. At midnight all the town's people searched every house to find the destined demon king but was unable to.They marched down Oakwood street and stopped at the Onyx house,the house of one best carpenters. "Edward come out immediately!"one of the men yelled banging on the front door The front door was slowly opened and revealed a tall strong charming man with short black hair and dark brown eyes he looked very blissful."Harry how are you my friend...why are you screaming so late at night?" "Did you hear about the prophecy"another person asked "No I have not... what is the prophecy about "Edward ask concerned they haven't had a prophecy in years. "The prophecy reveals that the demon king has been reborn and we're looking for a newly born child with ruby red eyes...and this child bring the downfall of the kingdom "Harry said seeming panicked. "We're checking every newly born child in the kingdom "another person said. "I can assure you that my child does not have ruby red eyes he has blue eyes just like his mother"Edward said and a woman holding a child walked up behind him she had long honey blonde hair, fair skin and ocean blue eyes she was holding a baby in her arms. "Edward what's going on"she asked her voice was soft and soothing she seemed tired. "Darling what are you doing you just gave birth you should be resting "Edward said worriedly. "I'm fine love"Margaret said smiling. Harry cleared his throat "We need to check if your child is the destined child" "Our son is the destined child"Edward said. "We assure you that it's not our son...but to reassure you can check to see."Margaret said holding her child. A priest and his assistant walked up to Margaret the priest had a Bible and holy water in his hands and his assistant had a small knife,a silver bowl and a mirror. Alfred the priest opened the bottle of holy water and wet his fingers and made a cross sign on the small child's forehead.He then took the small knife and mad a cut on the small child hand and the baby started to cry and Edward felt his blood boil. The baby's blood filled the small silver bowl and Alfred poured the rest of the holy water into the bowl and took the silver mirror and held it by the child and he started to chant. "Mirror of light, mirror so sure. In your reflection all is pure. Behind the glass let nothing hide. Reveal the truth that lurks inside" Strong winds started to howl and the lamps started flickering.The people started to panic as the child kept crying a black and blood red inverted pentagram started to carve on his forehead his eyes turned ruby red and blood as black as the night. "it's him... he's the child of the prophecy..."Alfred said a bit shocked. "This child must be killed"the people start to protest. "What no I will not you allow you to take our child away from us"Edward said standing in front of his wife and newly born son that's still crying ready to sacrifice his life to protect his family. "Edward that child is a demon he'll bring the downfall of humanity he must be killed"someone yelled from the crowd. The people kept demanding that the child should be sacrifice to prevent the prophecy form being for filled. "No! I will not let any one of you take my child!"Margaret said sternly. "There's no other way to stop the prophecy."Alfred said sadly he felt bad for Edward and Margaret they loved children but unfortunately they lost their first child and are very protective of Noah there second son an innocent naive child with short black hair and ocean blue eyes he had a cheery personality. "No... Alfred please there has to be another way... there has to be"Edward said not ready to lose another child. "I'm sorry Edward my friend....but their is no other way."Alfred said. The people kept yelling demanding that the child should be killed.
