I had never dragged my feet so hard to go to college. The temptation to skip class had tempted me since I walked through the door of my house. After the night I had spent, I would gladly have stayed in my bed... At the end of the morning, sitting in the front row, as usual, I tried to stay awake. But the work had to be done... (Sigh) I had to listen to at least every other word, just to take some notes... My scribbles looked like nothing; I wasn’t even sure I could read them again. At noon, we were released ten minutes early. I was hungry. I decided to buy a sandwich at the snack bar around the corner. I would eat it at home.
