16 -Kahil

“Xayvry, please I am so tired. Can we please stop.” Diyaa asked. “We need to get away from this pack. You know what they are like. I can’t believe they found us.” Xayvry told her. “You know you can trust me. I didn’t pick up any another feeling than them wanting to help us. They all felt genuinely worried about us.” Diyaa huffed. I could hear the tiredness in Diyaa’s voice. I could feel how exhausted Xayvry was through our bond. However, right now she was running on adrenaline. I knew once all this was settled, and her adrenaline wore off she was going to drop like a rock. I told the others to stop running as we caught up to them. I could see them as we came around a few trees. They were leaning against an outcropping of rocks. I could hear Diyaa whining about having to keep moving.
