Incubo and I knew she was there as we got closer to the warehouse. The bond between mates will feel tighter and more uncomfortable/painful the further away they are from each other. Think of a rubber band. It is nice and relaxed when it is not being pulled, but when it is pulled it becomes tight. That is what the mate bond feels like when mates are far from each other. The closer we got to the warehouse the more relaxed our bond became.
