Chapter 2

. Alpha Francis’ P.O.V.

After the hour meeting, I had our secretary to arrange for us to go over to the gaming company to meet our new staff. They were a small group but the games they created were selling like hot cakes.

Luna Joan and Jessica were complete opposites. Luna Joan was just a year younger than her. She was beautiful with short straight brown hair, blue eyes, skinny and was 5’8 tall. I met her in elementary school and her father was our father’s Beta. After the meeting, she waited for me in my office.

“I found her.” I said to her happily. She smiled at me. Luna Joan had found her mate two months ago and we were in the middle of a divorce. She was my best friend in high school so when I needed a Luna, she stepped up. We had never been intimate so it was no big deal when she came home one night smelling of another male and she had been marked. We celebrated her union that night.

“What’s her name? What does she look like?” Luna Joan asked me as she walked to the mini frig to get a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

“I don’t know. She is about 5’5, long, curly, red hair, green eyes, and ugh! I just wanted to kiss her.” I said to her as she handed me the glass.

“Well, here’s to your love.” Luna Joan said as we toasted.

Kali’s P.O.V.

While I was in Seattle, I got a text message from Tony letting me know that we had to come to office tomorrow to meet the new owners of the company. I never found my way to Diana and she was upset. We were best friends and I knew she wouldn’t be mad at me for long.

The weather was going to be hotter than yesterday so I pulled out a nice red and white dress with matching heels. I don’t usually wear dresses to work but I didn’t want our new bosses to think different of me. They were supposed to be strict and old fashion.

The memory of the twins kept me up all night as Luna kept showing me all the s****l things I would be doing with them. “Not my butt!” I screamed in one instant and squeezed my ass muscles together. Luna laughed in my head as I laid in my bed upset.

“This is bullshit.” I said as I got in front of the building and similar smells hit me like a ton of bricks.

“They are close!” Lyla said happily.

“They need to stay away!” I said angrily. I caught their scent on the elevator and when I got off on the 10th floor, their scent was there too. I walked passes our cubicles and towards the conference office. For some reason, I could feel myself crying as I opened the door to see them standing there talking with Tony.

“Kali Martinez, they are the ones that bought our company, Freddy and Francis Bare.” Tony said as he walked towards me. I felt this strong pull towards them as I watched them walk over to me. f*****g great, two f*****g rich asshole alphas were the mates the Moon Goddess chose to give me.

“Umm excuse me.” I said as I wiped my tears and walked over to my seat. I could feel their eyes on me. I didn’t want one or two mates. But now that I know their names, I can reject them.

It took them a while for them to continue their presentation as they kept staring at me. I put my head down as I felt my tears continue. Then Alpha Freddy (he is the older twin) walked over to me. He had on a white shirt with slacks on. His goatee was so sexy on him.

“Are you okay Kali?” Alpha Freddy leaned in to ask me. Our skin touching sent a spark through me again but this time it was stronger. Lyla started to howl loudly. I looked up to find our eyes connected. I gently caressed his face with my hand and he closed his eyes and smiled. The sensation was so intense, I felt myself getting wet. Then Alpha Francis walked over to get his caresses.

“Umm, can you please continue with your presentation?” I said to both of them. That snapped them out of their trance. They walked back to the front of the room and continued to explain their plans for our company.

“This is my chance to reject them.” I said to Lyla. She growled at me in her.

“You know you want to be with them as much as they want you.” Lyla said.

“I don’t like men!” I said to her.

“Yes you do! You knew that one day your mate or mates would come to take you away and make you the Luna you were meant to be.” Lyla said.

“I was fine being a rogue! I’m fine with being the alpha of our pack of rogues!” I said to her.

Thirty minutes later, I lifted my head to find the meeting was over. I didn’t want to look at them but they stared at me the whole time. Then I felt them walk over to me and sit on each side of me.

“Did we do something wrong gorgeous?” Alpha Freddy asked me as he touched my hand.

“Please don’t reject us. I promise to be the best mate for you.” Francis said to me as he touched my other hand. I looked at them and I could feel myself crying again.

“I don’t know what I want. I was fine living in my solitude and now this.” I said through tears.

“Can you just please give us a chance? I promise I won’t disappoint you.” Alpha Freddy said.

“We can take you out tonight so you can get to know us.” Alpha Francis said smiling.

“Please give our mates a chance.” Lyla said to me.

“Okay. I will go out with you. Can you please excuse me, I don’t work at the office. I work from home.” I said to them as I got up. I grabbed my laptop bag and headed towards the door. They followed behind me, their arousal hitting my nose.

“Do you need a ride home?” Alpha Francis asked me as they followed me to the elevator.

“No thank you. I like walking home.” I said before walking into the elevator. I tried my best not to look into their eyes. If I did, I knew that I would jump into their arms and let them take me to my office.

“No! No s*x!” I said to Lyla. She started laughing.

“It’s going to be amazing.” Lyla said.
