Salve

Together with the loud strike of lightning and thunder ahead, Salve's cry was swallowed by the frightening sound of the night as she tries her best to run for her life, away and outside the dark forest. She tries to look back as to where she comes from and she could see their little cottage burning. She wanted to stop and go back to save her mother but all she could see is her mind is her mother's face saying "Run now Salve and never look back,  Gerttude will be waiting for you at the entrance of the Portal. Go now! She knows what to do.' She hugged her for the last time and pushed her away as she tries to face those people who are trying to  kill them. She wanted to fight but she has no other choice but to run for now for what does an eight year old girl could do against those evil creature her mom is facing. She run and run until she saw the thousand year old Tree that as been a land mark that the portal is near. Near the tree, she could see Gerttude. "Faster Salve" Gerttude said. "But my Mom? How about her?' she said crying. "We have no time sweetheart" She grabbed her arms and lead her to the portal. "How about mother, Gerttude? I can't-" "She will be fine!" she said it with a mixed emotion face. "Your mom did everything just to save you, she will be fine, she;s a strong woman, she will be fine." 'I-I can-" she stuttered, she know she's lying! Gerttude started singing, as it is only the way to open the portal. “Gasp” Salve gasped as she felt a caressing hand on her head “dreaming again?” she saw Gerttude’s face, its been 10 years and she hadn’t aged at all, she’s still as pretty as ever with her long black straight hair that matches her eyes and brows with a red lips and fair skin, she doesn’t even look like her age. “yeah! I’ve been thinking about mom lately. its been 10 years and we still haven’t heard of her.” she said with a lonely tone that sounds like  she’s about to cry.. “hush now” Gerttude took a deep breath before saying a word again! “I know it’s hard my dear, but I know deep in my heart that your mom is still out there, she’s one of the strongest of our kind and so you are.” she hold her face and wipe her tears away. “I know, and I am prepare for the right time” “your 18th birthday is coming in a month from now, your real power will be unleashed soon.” “yes” she said in a very determined tone “and I will go back to that place and look for my parents! they will pay for what they’ve done!” Her Aunt hugged her! “we will my child, we will.” Gerttude is her mom’s bestfriend, there was a rumors back in their place before that her mom has an intimate relationship with her Aunt Gerttude which both of them had kept on denying. I can see how much Gerttude love and care for her mom as to how she really took care of me. Her mother was an enchantress and she is one of the most powerful in their world and they are called the Supreme Enchatra, there are Five types of Enchantress The First type is called Chantras, their powers are very limited and just enough to defend there self in times of danger, most of them are in assigned in the household and chooking. The Second Type which is the next level are the Chantrians, They are way better more powerful than the Chantras and they are mostly assigned in teaching the toddlers on how to use their magics. The third one are the Triantres, they are the so called Soldiers for in times of War and Trouble they are the one who fight and defend their tribes. The fourth one are the Fortress Enchanters, they and the Supreme Enchantress are the only one who could open the portals from the other world in their tribes, the Royals Bloods in the other tribes can open the portal too. Fortress Enchanters are always the supporter or the guardian of the Supreme Enchantress, and in Gerttudes case, she is the Guardian of my mom. Supreme Enchantress needs a guardian for they are prohibited to use any major chants and spells for it might cost trouble or worst, lives! There are only very few of them, the Fortress  and The Supreme Enchantress for they are only comes from the royal blood. Their Males are called Sorcerers, they can only improve their power by practicing and studying. unlike the females, they are born with it. there are only very few females in their tribe, that is why most of their sorcerers are married to another kind, there many kinds of creatures in their world but they are prohibited to be with the werewolves, they are their top one enemy of all.  It was said that a supreme enchantress was married with an alpha werewolf, everything was doing well  when the alpha had finally found his mate, the enchantress was so mad the she killed the alpha’s mate together with his unborn child. After that the Alpha was so mad that He almost had their whole nation m******e, and only few had survived together with the Supreme Enchantress.  It happened a very long time ago, and after that their kind had lived and disguised theirselves a commoner, and they no longer live together as like before, they had scattered to different places and got married to different tribes, so they have a lot of cross breeds. They don’t know how this war would end but she is hoping it would but unfortunately she is going to avenge her mother’s death if ever she is. They are now living in the other world, and Gerttude had been teaching and training her for the up coming time, for it is said that on her eighteenth birthday her power will be unleashed and they will know what kind of enchantress she would be but coming from the royal blood then she is expected to be the supreme one.  As per Gerttude their are only five Supreme Enchantress remaining, if her mom is alive then it means she’s the sixth one. They own a Mansion not so far away from the city, Gerttude also has a vast land the she use for growing crops and cattle. They already blended in with the humans, Gerttude goes with the name Maria Gerttude Salvatore so no one will wonder why they do not have the same Family name for she introduced her as her daughter.  Before she came to this place Gerttude had already all these wealth, they are very very rich as a human being but no one knows about their real identity aside from the Couple who serves them, Adam and Christy with their Son Gabriel.Christy is a Chantra and his husband Adam is a shape shifter, their son is showing some powers as a sorcerer. Gabriel had become her Guardian and her bestfriend at the same time. “Mom?” Salve calls as she is walking towards the main door. “Yes?” Gerttude replies as she comes out from the door with some gloves on her hands, she could guess what she’s doing. “Are you leaving for school dear?” “Yes mom, I got to go now I’ll be late.” She went to her and planted a kiss on her cheeks. “Okey then, take care.. if anything happens just call me okey? I’m just in the green house” She went on and get inside the car that has been waiting for her. Gerttude spends most of her time in the greenhouse, they do have a garden though and the greenhouse is prohibited by anyone on the house except for her and Gabriel’s family. She knows Gerttude had been preparing and practicing something in there. “Salve? are you okey?” Gabriel spokes while they are inside the library one afternoon. They are at the same school, in the same grade and section. He was always with her whenever they are not in the house. “Uhmn! Yeah I’m okey!” She’s been in a really deep thoughts lately which is unlikely to be her. “If there is something that’s bothering you, you know that you can always tell it to me right?.” Gabriel said while she holds her hands gently. She is more like a brother to her and she knows that Gabriel felts the same ways as well. He is always willing to risk his life for her.” She smiled back at him and said “I know, and thank you for that.” "Your birthday is coming, I know it's one of the things that bothers you though, for mom said that something will happen or change during that day." Gabriel said in a serious tone. "Yeah! That's what mom had been preparing me, I am not bothered at all since I was preparing for that day to come." She said without an expression, but knowing Gabriel, she knows that he doesn't believe her. "Really huh?" His left brow flicks and that gesture if him make her giggle."What??" Gabriel again with an amusement on his face. "It really makes me laugh when you flick your brows." She said while laughing still. "And why is that? "Well not all,boys do that, It's kind a gay for me." she said laughing and covering her mouth at the same time. "So gays huh? well I think I had turned myself into one for since I meet you I was always with you all the time, not to mention I have to go back in second grade when in fact I should continue in fifth grade." Gabriel smirk. Salve even laughed harder that they  caught the Librarian's attention and made her covered her mouth more. "Oh I'm so sorry" she said while holding her belly. "I can't breath" she said still giggling. "Sigh! I don't know with you." He said smiling. Gabriel knows him better that the other people around her, His like a brother to her. When she came into his world He was already eleven years old and is in the fifth grade, Gerttude made him befriended her so that she won't get more depressed and traumatized with all the things she had been through. He has to repeat his second grade for her so that he can accompany her. Gabriel was a sweet and thoughtful little boy back then who had been very protective of her and now he is seems to be like a full grown man at the age of 21. When Gabriel turned eighteen his power and skills had turned stronger and having a shape shifter father and a chantra mother He is way more powerful than his parents, He is a handsome guy who has a deep brown eyes, thick black brows, pointed knows and well a kissable lips as other girls says. His body is boarder that the other boys his age due to all their combat training.   On the other hand, Salve is one of the prettiest face in their campus, She had been invited to be the Cheerleader and in some pageant but she turned them all down. Salve has a very fair skin that you might be afraid of touching for it might get scratched. She looks like a barbie doll as they say, She has a long, wavy unusual blonde red hair that most of the people around her thinks she dyed it, a brow that matches her hair color, pointy nose, a full and pouty lips, she has a odd eyes, the other one is green and the other one is blue. Her mother once told her that when she finally found the person who is destined to be her other half, her eyes will all turn into a color blue. She is 5'8 tall and she is way more taller than her classmates that made them more envious of her, but there is nothing they could do since her family is one of the most powerful and rich person in their place. "Let's go home Gab." She stood up. "Hey? We still have one last subject." "I don't feel like attending it, let's just go." She grabbed her back and walk straight to the parking area. "What's with the sudden change of mood." Gabriel mumbles as he follows her. As their driver Freddy saw them he walks towards her and took her things.Freddy is already in his fifties but he still looks so healthy and strong. "Your class is supposed to end in 5:30, is there something wrong?' Freddy asked as he buckles his seatbelt. "Nah nothing, I just wanna go home early." Everyone didn't bother to ask her further questions. It will took a half an hour to reach their house so Salve just closed her eyes for a moment as they are having a fine drive.
