A voice from her favorite podcast says as Yuri vaguely smiles, standing in front of her mirror, dressed in the traditional black and white dress for a maid, ready to begin another hectic day but first making sure to complete the most essential part of her morning routine. ...A b***h thinks the whole world revolves around her, a b***h thinks everyone is beneath, a b***h gives no damn about anyone's feelings, hence she deserves all cruel things like a good slap, and how do you successfully achieve this? First! you have to..." *Phone rings* *Cuts it* Proceeds to get back into the podcast. *Phone rings once again* *Cuts it* *Phone rings, checks the caller* *Panic attack* "Get! your!! Pathetic!!! Self!!! Here!!! now!!!" Her biggest nightmare screams over the phone. She had been her personal maid for so many years and still couldn't get used to her screaming commands. She found herself in front of Rachel as usual, not being aware of how fast she had gotten there until she suffered a severe shortness of breath which she fought hard to subside. "What does the clock say?" Rachel asks an already trembling Yuri who takes a look at the purple glittering clock. "What does the goddamn clock say Skunk!" "It's thre...three minutes past the hour of ten," Yuri stutters and proceeds to kneel. "I'm so sorry I am three minutes late," Yuri pleads even though she already knew what would come next. "You should rather be sorry for your disgusting existence!" Rachel replies, but Yuri being already accustomed to these sorts of insulting statements from her, judiciously moves on to the next agenda. "I'll prepare your warm bubble bath immediately," said Yuri, accompanying her last statement with a little bow before leaving. To Shin Yuri, nobody understood the feeling of emotional trauma more than she did. It was sad enough that she had no surviving family member, but having to serve since the age of thirteen to a girl of the same age as her was the worst of it all. Rachel, on several occasions pointed out about how hugely she despised her name 'Yuri' because she also bore it, she couldn't accept the fact that she had the same name as her maid and requested for an abrupt change of name, which her mother supported but her father was highly against. Finding a way around her father's instructions, she decided to be called the name, Rachel, at home while freely bearing her real name 'Han Yuri' whenever she was far away from home and the stinging realization that she had the same name as her personal maid. Gradually, and still to the discontent of Mr Han, it became Rachel at home and Yuri to the Public. Yuri could not comprehend the reason behind Rachel's hate, for all she knew there was nothing tangible about her to hate on besides her name, which she already figured a way to nearly dispose of. Rachel was daring and audacious, qualities Yuri felt was complimented by her family's status. She possessed in high measures, the adored Korean beauty standards, and the average length of her chocolate brown wavy hair, complimented her slender figure; one she had worked the hardest to maintain. She was born with a silver spoon, lived in wealth and was provided everything she would, and will ever request. To Yuri, that was enough reason for one to be less concerned and worried by a mere servant. But, on a usual 'unemployed day but spending daddy's money as this,' Rachel Han Yuri spends hours with Karina on the phone chatting away without failing to point out to Karina how disgusted she was by Yuri's existence. Nevertheless, on this particular day, the content of their conversation made Yuri smile rather than feeling chastised. She may have finally found the opportunity she had been desperately looking out for. If Rachel was away, she was sure of being relieved of her duties and granted permission to leave for a few days to somewhere really special to her. Yuri immediately snaps out of her thoughts but meets a floor full of bubbles from the used foot wash which she applied in washing Rachel's feet. "Oh no, I am sorry...so sorry," Yuri pleads with panic, quickly moving to clean the mess with a small towel close by. Rachel, who had grown more irritated, forcefully pushes her head away using her wet right foot, causing Yuri's fall. "Pathetic!!" She exclaims, putting back on her purple robe as she walks away from the spa room, leaving a teary eyed Yuri lying defeated on the wet soapy floors, with no physical or mental energy to get herself back up.
