Seren’s POV The days after the school hall fight bled into one another like water seeping into cracks, staining everything it touched. I hadn’t left the Alpha’s mansion once. I hadn’t stepped foot into the gardens, hadn’t gone anywhere near the gates. It felt as though invisible chains kept me locked inside my room, heavy and suffocating. The worst part was that no one had truly locked me away. It was me. My silence. My refusal to face what I had done, what I had become. I hadn’t spoken to anyone since it happened.
