Chapter 20 - Assassin's

Kathies POV

I can hear footstep. And I can feel danger.

I open my eyes, and look around my room, it's dark .

I stand and hold my forehead as I feel slightly dizzy.

I hear Nancy asking at the living room.

I walk there, to see her looking near the door.

She can't see quiet well on the dark, But I can.

I can see clearly the man covered in black clothes all over there body.

I look further, as the man grab a knife and are going to stab Nancy without her knowing.

I run to her with no sound as my speed gather up, In Split moment I'm now at her back.

"Kathie?!!" She asked shocked

I grab her hand, as I raise my hand to momentarily stop and paralyze the movement of foreign person in front of us.

Nancy couldn't see, but I can.

I can hear their breathing.

As another man showed their appearance in dark. I take this chance to decide and run.

I grab Nancy and we run inside the room as we heard shatter noises of glasses.

I have to make her calm.

"Keep quiet and calm down Nance" I keep my hand in her mouth as I look into her eyes.

"What?" I frown as her eyes got widen, I decided to let her go and grab her at the back of my bed.

"Hide here, and no matter what, stay, and don't make a sound" I whisper softly as she hide herself and I feel how fear she was.

"Kathie your eyes" she mumble in silent.

"I know I can feel it, just stay there, after this I'll explain" she nodded and never speak again.

I turn my back and walk infront of the door. It won't keep long before the man in black will open it.

I prepare myself and calm my breathing. The door went open harshly as I hear how Nancy gave a quick squeak in low sound.

I glance at her as she shut her eyes and put her hands in both of her ear.

I fear for Nancy's safety. Nevertheless, I keep my posture and look at the open door.

I'm prepare at any action of attack. My sweat roll down from my forehead as I quietly wait. I fix my stance, and made myself ready to fight.

Calm down Kathie, remember what you've learn, and all those Training...

I swallowed the lump on my throat.

A man jump from the door, closing the distance between us.

Holding a knife aiming for my neck, I block his hand, as he swing it again to the other side, I manage to avoid it by swinging my upper body to the other side as his left arm move to punch  my head, I block it by bending my right hand upward to the side of my head, and grab his upper arm to disable his movement.  I push him to the wall, and grab his neck as I continually kick his stomach and he was pinned.

He keep on struggling as I can feel my breathing being rug .

He wants me dead , there's no doubt.

Full of anger I choked him, as he gasped for air.

He make sounds as he look at me with killer eyes. I look at his structure, his not a he but a she.

I moved swiftly and grab her knife as I put it on her neck.

"WHO ORDERED YOU TO KILL ME???!!!!" I shouted on her face as she keep on struggling.

I only know one person who can make such an evil action, but I want to hear, and make sure if it is.

She did not answer, instead she spit on my face.

I got more anger as I raise my hand ready to bury this knife to her heart.

She never blink, my breathing get more faster from anger as she suddenly grab my hand on her neck and struggle to escape.

"Aaahhhh!!"

I shouted in anger. I do really want to kill her for trying to hurt me and Nancy.

But my hand stop as I sudden see her bracelet.

I know who owned it.

And I know that it hasn't any other copy because it only has one.

"Anna" I mumble softly. 

My heart beats faster, as I can hear the sound of it.

I can't believe what's happening.

Is this really true?.

My expression soften, As I get distracted by the thought that she is Anna, one of my siblings, my youngest sister.

But impossible, why would she kill me.

I stare blankly at her covered face as I moved my hand to get rid the mask.

She  grab my hand instantly, and bump harshly her head on mine, as she kick me on my stomach.

It get me on my knees as I feel the pain.

She grab the knife on the floor, and raise both of her hand.

She look at me ready to stab.

It get me anger as I raise my hand and paralyze her body.

"f**k off!!, Who are you?!!" I ask in anger as I stand still holding my stomach.

I pinned her again on the wall.

I was about to continue removing her mask when I heard foot step at my back. I turn around to see the other man in suit.

I raise my hand to block but made a mistake as the knife slice my upper arm.

I raise my other arm to paralyze the other man as he was about to jump on me.

Now both of them can't move.

I feel sting from my wound as blood keeps on dropping.

"You'll never see the sun again" I said as I slowly close my hand and they groan in pain.

I look at the first one who attacked me.

She's not Anna, Anna wouldn't kill her own sister.

By the time I glance to the other one a smoke begin to rise inside the room. It stung my eyes, as I lose control.

Both of them drop on the floor, as I rub my eyes.

"Kathie!" Nancy shouted in worried.

Shit.

I get more angered, they drop a smoke.

The wind get stronger inside , the ground shake.

How dare them, do such trick.

I scream in anger, I open my eyes, and the sting disappeared.

I look at my room.

And They're gone.

Fuck. They escaped.

I look at Nancy's direction as she run on me.

"Your arm" she said.

I shrug, and sit at the floor.

This new power , drain my body's energy.

I feel tired.

Nancy did what I do, she sit by my side as she hug me and quietly make a sob.

I know how feared she was. We almost got killed. I hug her back, and run my hand on her hair.

Now it sink to me. I almost got killed.

It make me stare at nowhere as I let the tear escape, and sniff quietly.

This is my life now, the life I feared and keep on avoiding.

My nightmare.
