You know the story of Prometheus. He stole fire from the gods and paid for it the rest of his life. Here’s my question: why didn’t the gods steal it back? Did they have power or didn’t they? Looks to me like they didn’t. Not real power anyway.
That’s the position I was in. I had sent Rex to that tree. Nothing wrong with that, it’s part of my power. Even part of my privilege if you want to call it that.
