The build up
Last night was when we both knew that we were going on this trip, by fire by force. There was nothing stopping us, we had tried to get a train but they were fully booked, then we thought we can't take the bus, I mean who has that time? Then came the shuttle, if anyone lives in Kenya they know how these Shuttle guys move mad. With transport settled the other was our parents, so we got to thinking and concocting the perfect lie. The decision I made was to tell my Mother the half truth, which was... "I was going with my friends on a four hour journey, not too far and we had our own car. As for Diana she dint even mention I was traveling with her. I mean how could she? It would hinder our plans, so no, impossible. Instead she had to say she was going with her friends from Church. Since such deep thought was put into these lies, it was full proof. Lo and behold, it worked so well. Without hesitation we were released. Full of excitment we got online to discuss our success.
Though something was still not right with us, our dumbasses popped a Concerta while trying to plan our logistics and when the time came to now get some rest in order to be fresh for the journey, no one could find sleep. Time went on and moved sometimes so fast and other times so slow. Eventually our alarms rang and we just got out of bed showered, got our luggage and food, and left. Our taxi took less than Ten minutes to get to the car station. As predicted before there they were the Shuttle's they call them but no, the car is a Noah. A whole Seven seater and there were the two backseats with our names on them right there. Your girls are living lavish in a strangers car, with our feet up, cooler box in the middle, everything we need right now, we have. Except SLEEP!
