PURE BLOOD OVER THE SALTY WATER
Chapter 1: The Ocean that Bled Moonlight
The night was still, except for the whisper of the tide and the shimmer of a thousand stars reflected on the waves.
From the deep, Seraphina, daughter of the Sea Queen, rose for her nightly ritual — a perfect spin across the surface, her tail glinting like liquid silver. The ocean bent to her movement, spinning threads of light that painted the night.
But that night, the moon burned brighter than usual — crimson at its edges.
From the cliffs above, Lucien, vampire prince of Nocturne, emerged from shadow. The pull of the moon had awakened his thirst, and something else — a strange melody carried by the sea breeze.
He saw her first — a figure of shimmering beauty, dancing where no mortal dared to tread.
Seraphina saw him too — a silhouette cloaked in night, eyes glowing like twin embers.
Their eyes locked.
The ocean stilled.
Lucien smirked. “Even the sea dares to flirt with the moon tonight.”
Her voice was soft but sharp. “And even the night dares to taint the water’s purity.”
They were opposites by nature — yet bound by curiosity.
And when he stepped closer to the water’s edge, the moonlight turned the waves red.
