*PRINCESS ZARAH’s POV*
“Zarah!” I heard my mother’s voice so I looked at the door and saw her with my father standing at the door while my personal servants are standing behind them.
“Mother, ” I called back, my voice weak and my eyes still shedding tears. Mother strode her way to me and hugged me tight, I also felt my father hugging the two of us, and yet, I still could not stop crying.
“Zarah Bella are you really back to your body?” mom asked and I nodded my head without looking at her.
“Mom...she’s gone, ” I whispered as I cling to my mother’s clothes, crying in her arms.
“Who are you referring to?” mother asked and I looked at her straight in the eyes.
“Maxine’s gone, I don’t know where she is, ” I replied while mother looked around the room.
