CHAPTER 10
Troy stayed for breakfast and we sat around and talked about the events of last night, and then he decided it was probably a good idea to head back to his apartment. He was worried that his roommates were freaking out about where he was, since he’d inadvertently stayed out all night.
Lily and I decided to call our mom and let her know that we weren’t going to come home again for the weekend. We felt terrible, but after what happened the night before, we didn’t feel like talking about it. But I did make sure to tell her that I made an appearance at the party and hung out with Troy. I also left out the part where I saw Nick, because that would have led to more questions.
Lily went out after Troy left, claiming she was going to study with Susie and Kylee, but I didn’t buy it. Kn
