It has always been Jade dreams to be a professional swordsman even though it is well dominated by men. But the fact that it is dominated by men made her want it more, meaning she can achieve it, at least there are few courageous women who are into it. She thought about all this as she walked through the forest and mountains surrounded it. She looked to her front to the northern part of the forest, a place where she was told she was found. She is an orphan who was raised by a feared renowned swordsman who is now retired. He found her in this forest when he was passing by and raised her as his own. They lived in a secluded mountainous area in Xaven. The only way she knew how to achieve her goals is by joining the Impairable Swordmen Association. Her father often train her in physical combat and sword fighting, she saw it as a privilege to have someone with such skills, it served as a boost to her dreams.The Impairable Swordmen Association is a reknowned association with swordsman with good fighting skills and versatile swordsmanship which was headed by Alexander the cold hearted boss that never smiles . The Impairable Swordmen Association was a top notched association that wasn't easy to get into. It required you to be at your best in physical combat and sword fighting for you to be accepted. The entry required series of vigorous examination for you to be admitted . Because the city of Xaven soley rely on this association for security support against invaders of other cities and criminals within it. Another fact about this association was that it was dominated by the men and the women in the association were few. This even made her more determined to make a statement, she made up her mind to get admitted and even be more better than the head boss of the Association Alexander. Several months after there was an opening into the Impairable Swordmen Association and the opening was just for three people. She started training even more, her father taught her a lot skills and techniques that would make her outstanding and would get admitted. On the day of the examination the atmosphere was intense it was filled with strong willed fighters that wants to further their fighting skills and want to get noticed, it was even more intense for Jade because she was the only lady present she was surrounded with tons of male competitors who made it very obvious to her that she doesn't have a chance of winning. Some sneered some scoffed but she was unwavered because she knew her capability at the same time she wasn't overconfident of it because it was also very dangerous. The sneers and scoffs gave her more determination to win and to prove worthy of being admitted. The examination was to occur in three stages. The first stage was to test for strength, the second stage was to test for agility and the third stage was to test for bravery. The examination was to reduce their numbers to three, which was the required number they want to recruit. During the examination Jade surprised everyone with the way she fought and her skills, it wasn't a skill shown by nobodies. Even the head boss who has been disinterested by the occasion was now focused on Jade. And with that incredible performance she was admitting to the Impairable Swordmen Association as one of its fighters. Her training started and she was quickly noticed because of her exception talent. Soon a lot of people picked interest in her especially the male genders, they started trying to get closer to her but she had promised herself not to get involved with men because they were the greatest distraction and she can be whatever she wants by her own power. Based on this attention she was gaining, some of the women who stuck up to her began to feel jealous because they never get such attention. One day during one of the training the head boss came to watch them and saw her . The head boss was a very handsome man, his face was perfectly sculpture with a very fair and spotless skin like snow, his jaws were made in away that perfectly held his mouth with his white sparkling teeth and soft pink lip which was usually curved into a smirk.His eyes were endowed with a set of eye lashes long like feather and a perfectly chiseled body, he was simply flawless. Many were surprised to see him because he was barely in places like theses.They ogled him, but male and female could not resist his charm even though he was aware of the stares he ignores them, he saw them as bunch of fools. There was an occasion where a lady fighter tried to seduce him so he could fall for her but what was done to her served as a deterrent to other never to try that act again. So the only choice they had was to admire him from afar. Obviously he loved the attention but Jade wasn't bothered by the appearance of the big shot. She was just nervous getting to see that he was watching their training. Because of her awesome performance he putted her in mind for important jobs. There was a crime scene in the rural part of Xaven town . There was a terrorist attack and they needed efficient fighters for the operation.Every fighters in the association always look forward for operations like this so they could proof their capability to the association and get to be sent on more important job but to everyone surprise Jade was chosen to go for this mission even though she haven't gain much experience yet because she recently just got admitted and she was at the beginners level. Such critical missions were left for the expert to handle. She was called to the head boss office which was rarely done to anyone . She went to the head boss office when she got there he was surprised by her aura and confidence. Normally when a fighter was called to the head boss office they tremble in fear and stammer in their words and for most female fighter they blush in fear but for Jade she wasn't doing any of those she had a strong aura emanating confidence and boldness. He told her that since it was her first mission high hopes were placed on her and she proudly promised to do her best. During the operation she brought a very effective strategy that was used in defeating the terrorist and they won. After every victory it was the tradition of the Impairable Swordmen Association to have a celebratory party for the fighters who have done them proud and of course they threw a celebratory party for Jade and her team, she was the center of attention through out the party because she was the cause of the victory even the head boss gave her well-done which has never been done in the history of the association with her win Alexander internet in Jade peaked. This created rumors among the fighters that she was seducing the head boss for him to be giving her his attention. The rumors started increasing and Jade was not happy about it then she decided to report the matter to the head boss so he could address the misconception among the fighters because she had tried many times to defend her self but because she was a very beautiful girl with versatile skills they felt she must have charmed the head boss that was why he was giving her preferential treatment. Before a fighter can see the head boss he or she has to inform the head fighter, when the head fighter heard about the rumors he was furious and surprised and promised to table the matter before the head boss and if he grant her request to see him he'll tell. After the head boss heard about what happened he was fascinated with her courage of wanting to see him and was interested on what she wanted to say so he granted her the permission to see him. She went to see the head boss , "I am ridiculed among my fellow fighters they lie that I didn't get to where I was based on my skills and capability but based on your preferential treatment to me, I would really like you sir to address the speculations before it goes out of control" she said. But what the head boss said in returns surprised her. He told her that if truly she wasn't acted on the speculations why on earth would she come to meet him in his office when she could have told the head fighter to relay the message he then went ahead to accuse her that a lot of female fighters have tried many attempt to get his attention but it would never happen and that he would only pardon her because she didn't know the rules This got Jade very angry because of this weighty allegations against her. She told him that she respected him a lot and she had always saw him as her role model worthy to be emulate but what he said made her change her mind that she never had the intention of what he accused her of and that was the reason why she wants him to address the matter and not all women are shameless and in the past there might be women who falled for him and attempt to get is attention but she won't and will never fall for him or try to get his attention. On that note she bowed and left his office. For minutes Alexander couldn't recover from the shock Jade gave him he was so shocked and surprised because never in his entire life had he face such confrontation from any body. Her words kept ringing in his head like a bell causing him sleepless night. He was amazed after lot of thought and nursing of ego he decided to apologize something he has never done. He kept on rehearsing how he'll approach her then after some day he called her into his office. When she came he paced to and fro for sometime which made Jade confused then finally he heaved and said quickly with much restraint "I am sorry" Jade mouth was in agape by his statement that she had to reply with excuse me. He apologize again and told her he didn't mean to ridicule her by his statement and promise to address the fighters about the misconception. Alexander fulfilled his promise and address the matter he didn't take it lightly with the rumor spreaders he even went as far as punishing the fighters that instigated the rumors and with that the rumors died down and was never heard of. It even made the fighters more wary of Jade, they felt she had a certain connection with the charismatic head boss but those thoughts were based in their hearts. After Alexander address the fighter he began to return to his quarters. He has his own personal quarters in the base far away from the fighters quarters. Jade ran towards him to appreciate how he handled the matter and promise to work harder for the association to make sure Xaven becomes a crime free place . He stopped to look at her and told her to walk with him, they started walking together Alexander began asking her questions which surprised her because she didn't expect him to take interest in her. He asked her what made her wanted to join the Impairable Swordmen Association she answered that it has always been her dream to become a swordsman and she felt girls are ridiculed, discriminated based on their lack of physical strength, she wanted to show the world that she could thrive in.
