Martin scratched his scalp and got out of the bed. He began the agitating habit of pacing back and forth for a minute or two, then suddenly stopped and looked at her. So many things were going through his mind. Including doubt whether he was doing the right thing. But he had a pressing question he had to ask first. “You believe me then?
