At war with fate.

Winter? it had to be. I tried to pry my eyes open but it seemed impossible. Memories,all of them came flooding my being like a tidal wave and my whole body shock even in the obviously small space.I feel like screaming,but all the effort I'm making seems stuck in the back of my throat. My whole body ached, I feel like going back to sleep again but this place makes my back feel sore and doesn't feel like the mat my mother wove me for my 18th birthday . I finally forced my eyes open,they were fluttering like they wanted to be kept close and they felt exceptionally numb. Then I heard it,the unmistakable footsteps of people,it seemed like my hearing became sharper but my body was still weak. I didn't have to make so much of an effort any longer to open my eyes. so I did,it felt so heavy like lead. Then it came, those visions I see,at least that's what I call them.My mind drifted to my parents,body laying lifeless under my blurry gaze,tears spilling from my eyes to join the pool of blood at my feet,my parents eyes staring unseeing at me. My normally dry throat became say and I shock my head to get rid of the images. My tired body gained a little strength which I planned to use to get out of here, so I pushed whatever was covering me,it didn't budge at first but it eventually opened after a few more trails. when I stepped out I was naked,then everything happened in a blur because one minute I was stretching with my eyes closed to lossen stiff muscles and the next I'm opening my eyes to a blue light which comes on automatically. Before I could react,I heard a voice in my ear as if it was connected to my brain then I hear 'earpiece' in my head,which must be the reason I'm hearing the voice.I raise my hand to my ear and fell something circular,I think. It felt comfortable so I didn't complain. Before I could come to terms with the voice in my head and the earpiece,I suddenly a voice say "Good evening Mr Chance,I'm Albie your help and I'd always be at your service sir" she made a small pause and before I could reply,she continued." Basic information. Body temperature-37°c, Height- 6'1, Weight-166/202Ib".I was shocked speechless I wanted to talk but she continued." your temperature is perfect sir and your body is in good condition".I didn't reply because I was dumbfounded. Although the information sounded foreign in my ears because I am nt educated,I knew they were correct. My parents were too poor to afford school which is why I was surprised that those monsters destroyed my family. I looked around and decided that this was definitely not Russia. Thank God for Albie ,it was when I remembered her that I noticed that the blue light was gone. When I was looking around,the light was off but immediately I thought of Albie,it came on. I thought bit was really creepy but before I could dwell on it, Albie started speaking."Hello there Mr Chance,this is Albie your help,your current location is Washington DC,Spokane"."wow! Albie,how did you know what I was thinking about?" she snobed me but replied saying " Mr Chance,you have 8 minutes to head south of this building,you will find a black SUV waiting for you. When you get to your destination,your questions will be answered".she didn't let me reply but said"you have 7 minutes sir,we should get going" so I started walking because I wanted a f*****g answer to all this confusing s**t. when we got to the car I knocked at the tinted window and the car opened up for me,I got in and it started moving,the driver in the black suit didn't even question me. As if I lost my eye sight,Albie chose that time to remind me"you have arrived at your destination Mr Chance". I just huffed and turned my gaze to the window. It was at that point I noticed that the heater was on and I was not cold even in winter,I definitely had questions.
