I was taking in everything's was telling me about Zabella and what he thought she was. I was looking out the window when I saw the flash of golden eyes again, but there was nothing attached to it, and a second later it was gone. I thought I was going crazy.
"I understand you shock, Kaid, but..." I didn't hear what else James said, I was at the window looking for the golden eyes. "What the hell man?" He said snapping me out of it.
"Sorry, I think I'm seeing things man." I said brushing it off and sitting back down. James looked at me funny, but I continued. "We never talked about Zabella's pack and what happened there. I need to ask now if there were any issues, or weird things that would stick out as suspicious.
