Chapter Thirty - Six

Katherine woke up in her childhood bedroom fuming mad. Every morning she woke up in her bed and not Ace's she became more and more livid. While she knew it could be a possibility Ace would decide be wanted Mae, she never thought it would actually happen. She was so much more then Mae could ever even hope to be.Katherine was strong, independent, beautiful and smart.

Mae was just there. Katherine checked Her phone to see if Ace had come to his senses yet, still not yet. She rolled her eyes and got out of bed and got dressed. She went into the kitchen where her mother was making scrambled eggs.

" Good morning honey are you in the mood for breakfast today?" her mom asked.

Katherine shook her head no and poured herself some coffee.

" How is the job hunting, and apartment hunting coming along?" her mom asked her.

" A few job interviews this week, and I'm not looking at apartments till I've found a job" she told her mom.

" Everything will turn out I have faith" she told Katherine.

" Glad one of us do", Katherine replied as she drank her coffee.

" Just because you lost the chance at being Luna doesn't mean you can take it out on your mother" her father spoke coming into the kitchen and hitting Katherine on the back of her head.

" Sorry dad" she spoke as she rubbed the back of her head.

" It's probably that mouth of yours that lost you Luna" he told his daughter.

" For the hundreth time it was their mate" she told her dad.

" There was many ways around her, you're just too stupid" he told her.

" Why don't you apply to be a warrior honey? You're more then qualified " her mom asked her.

" There's literally no way they'd hire me to be a warrior. I've attacked their precious Mae too many times" Katherine told her mom as she rolled her eyes.

" Your brothers have said she's very clingy to them especially to Ace" her mom spoke up.

" Thanks mom" Katherine said as she went to leave the room.

" You've got to do something you're not staying here forever " her dad yelled after her.

Katherine finished her coffee and grabbed her car keys leaving the house without saying anything else. Katherine didn't grow up rich but also not poor. It was a five bedroom house so there was two brothers to two rooms and she got her own room. She desperately needed to get away from her parents at the moment. She had plans to meet up with her oldest brother for lunch that day,so just really had to kill some time.

Katherine went to one of the parks and just sat there. Nobody was around so at least she could sit and think without being distracted. After some time she made her way to the restaurant where she was meeting up with her brother. She was first which she knew she would be. He smiled at her as he walked in and sat beside her.

" Having a good day?" he asked her.

" Not really Joseph. You know how mom and dad are since I've been home. Dad's acting like this is all my fault, and mom's acting weird about everything " she told him.

" Well you're more then welcome to stay with us. I know Stacy wouldn't mind" he told her as the waiter brought over some water.

" Thanks but no thanks. If I have to be a mooch it's better with them" she told him.

" You're not a mooch, you're just going through a rough patch of life" he told her.

" More like forever, I'm not getting him back" she told him.

" Not likely, sorry" he told her.

" You just need to find something else to be ambitious about and go get it" he told her.

" I have no idea what that could be" she told him as she took a sip of water.

" Apply to be a warrior, you know were always looking" he told her shrugging his shoulders.

" OH yes because that's a possibility There's no way any of them would let me do that" she told him rolling her eyes.

" You don't have to be at the pack house. There's tons of different positions. Like walking around the pack making sure everyone is safe for example " he told her as she just laughed.

" Sorry it's just not in the cards for me" she told him.

" Alright then don't say I never help" he told her with a shrug of his shoulders.

" How is he?" She asked him.

" Alpha Ace?" he asked as she nodded.

" I really don't want to tell you, can we talk about something else?" he asked her.

" No Joseph I want to know" she told him.

He sighed " I've never seen him like this before. He seems happy, sorry" he told her.

" Oh its fine " she said as the waiter came to take her order.

They ordered lunch and he was back on his way to work. Katherine knew what she needed to do, she made her way over to those guys she spoke to and needed to check on their progress. She crossed over the border and found them in the same spot.

" Are you guys even wanting to take me up on my offer? Seems like nothing has happened" she said to them as she walked over to them.

" We've actually done alot princess" the one said rolling his eyes at her.

" You're literally in the same spot, you haven't gone anywhere" she said to him.

" It's called resting we can only do so much" he told her.

" Well speed things up. I'm not willing to wait anymore " she told him putting her hands on her hips.

" If you want things done faster you're going to have to make it work our while" the second guy standing there said.

" What do you want?" She asked.

" Give us some money now" the second one spoke.

" I don't have any right now " she told him.

The first one licked his lips " Fine f**k us" he told her.

She laughed " Yes that's high on my list of things to do" she told him rolling her eyes.

" Look you want this done faster. You have to give us sorry " the second told her.

" We haven't been with a woman in a long time " the first told her.

She rolled her eyes and took her clothes off " Fine I could use some fun anyway" she told them.

" Do you have limits?" the second one asked as he took his clothes off.

" I'm not into kissing, anything else is fair game" she told him.

" I can f**k you in the ass?" the first one asked.

" Are you deaf? I said anything " she spoke to him.

" Once I've given you the best s*x you've ever had how much longer will I have to wait for what I want?" She asked as she slid down onto the one guy.

" It's funny that you think you're in charge right now" the other guy spoke as he slid into her ass.

Katherine groaned as they both started f*****g her. This wasn't the first time she had used her body to get what she wanted, and it wouldn't be the last. If she had to f**k everyone in the pack to get what she wanted she would. Once they had both finished she finally got her answer.

" As soon as we can" the first guy told her.

" That's not an answer" she said as the first guy glared at her.

" I'll do what I can, don't like it find someone else to do your dirty work" he told her rolling his eyes.

" Fine whatever, work as fast as you can. I want my power back" she told them
