Chapter Thirty-Five

Kai was fast asleep in his room when he heard Mae screaming. He jolted out of bed and ran over to Ace's room, ready to throw the door open.
" You're so perfect Mae" came Ace's voice.
Kai sighed and walked back to his room, ok so a s****l scream got it. He knew Ace wouldn't hurt her but there was still apart of him that was worried he could. It wasn't that long ago he would hit her when he was mad at her. It was bad enough he used to do it, if it continued Kai really would hurt him. It was the weirdest thing to see them going from what their relationship was, to what it was now.
Ace acted like he had never wronged her, it seemed like Mae forgave him so that was between the two of them. He just couldn't wrap his head around how she was able to forgive him so quickly. They were instantly a couple, f*****g several times a day even. Kai desperately wished he was so bold to just take what he wanted, but he wanted to make sure Mae was comfortable and not just take what he wanted like Ace was doing.
He couldnt get over how hard he was constantly just listening to her moans and screaming.He couldnt wait until he was there with her.He sighed and put some ear plugs in both ears and fell back asleep. He was awoken the morning from the sun peeking in through the blinds. He stretched and got out of bed and got dressed.
He made his way downstairs to see Ace and Mae kissing in the dinning room. He coughed to let them know he was there. She pulled away from Ace and came over and kissed him.
" Good morning beautiful " he said when she finally pulled away.
" Did you sleep ok?" She asked him.
He shrugged his shoulders " ok pretty loud noises coming from you" he said giving her a wink as she instantly blushed.
" OH my gosh that's so embarrassing " she said as she covered her face.
" It's nothing to be embarrassed by" Ace told her with a laugh.
" It gave me a good idea what I'm in for" Kai told her as he kissed her again.
" Is it time I move to a different part of the house?" Max asked interrupting them.
" Don't move too far brother will make it harder to get to her at night" Ace said giving him a smirk.
" It's not happening " Max said.
" Sure" Ace said giving him a wink.
" I don't know how many times I have to say it. Sorry Mae no offense" he told her as Mae shrugged her shoulders.
" You don't need him anyway" Kai said as he kissed her again.
" After breakfast we've got lots to do so enjoy your time while you can" Ace told her as he took his seat.
Kai sat down on the other side of Mae and they all ate breakfast. Once breakfast was over they both gave her a kiss and headed out to get work done. The three of them walked into the office and started talking.
" Got a call from Alpha Scott yesterday, he didn't say what he wanted. But wants to have a meeting with the three of us" Max told them.
" As in Mae's original pack Alpha Scott?" Kai asked him.
" That's the one" Max replied.
Kai rolled his eyes " Not too thrilled to see him but alright" he told his brother.
" Neither am I but it needs to be done " Max told him.
" Fine we can get that done sometime next week or after depending on his own schedule " Kai told him.
" Alright I'll make that call later today. So you two are officially taking Mae as Luna?" Max asked them.
" If she wants to yes" Ace spoke up.
" I thought she was weak and wasn't worthy?" Max asked with a smirk.
" Things change" Ace told him.
" Should we try and put her through some sort of training?" Max asked him.
" No we know what happened last time. She's perfect the way she is" Kai told him.
Max rolled his eyes " She's got you two so p***y whipped " he told them.
" Whatever Max, keep denying those feelings and desires. You're only hurting yourself, well and her" Kai told him.
" She has the two of you she doesn't need me" Max told them.
Ace just laughed " You really don't see it? The hurt she has not being able to have you, the pain it causes her when you say you don't want her" he told his brother.
" You're just imagining that" Max told him.
" You're just denying it" Ace told him.
" We have so much work to do, this is wasting time" Max told him rolling his eyes.
" Alright then what else Max?" Kai asked him with a slight chuckle.
" New warriors need to be trained and chosen, there's a handful of new people wanting to be members of the pack so we need to interview them and see if they're worthy" Max continues.
" Ok arrange that for the week before or after Alpha Scott" he said as he elbowed Ace as they both laughed.
" I'm done with you two today, you're pissing me off" Max said rolling his eyes as he left the office.
The two brothers just laughed " Can I ask you something"? Kai spoke up.
Ace nodded " Can Mae sleep in my room tonight?" Kai asked him.
" You know you don't have to ask me right? She's yours too" Ace reminded him.
" I feel like I should. I don't want there to be any drama when it comes to her" Kai told him.
" There won't be. But yes she can stay with you tonight if she wants to" Ace told him slapping him on the shoulder as he left the room.
" Where you going?" Kai asked him.
" I'm going to go see those new warriors, I'll be around " Ace told him.
Kai stayed for a few more minutes reading the mail before he left the office. He found Mae sitting by the pool reading.
" Hey would you want to spend the night with me?" Kai asked her .
" OH hello to you too" she said giving him a smile.
" What do you say?" he asked.
She nodded " I'd like that" she said as she gave Kai a kiss.
After supper the three of them were watching a movie when it was time for bed.
" Have a good night Mae. I'll miss you" Ace said giving her a final kiss as he left the room.
Kai grabbed her hand as they walked upstairs to his room. Mae kissed him as soon as the door was closed. He groaned and kissed her back. He led her to the bed and laid down on top of her kissing her. The entire night all they did was kiss, cuddle and talk.
And honestly it was exactly what Kai would want from her right now. The next morning when they woke up Mae was smiling at him.
" Did you sleep well?" he asked her as she nodded.
" Are you ok that we didn't hook up last night?" he asked her.
She nodded again " I love that were going at our own pace, it was nice and felt right " she told him as she kissed him.
