Chapter Thirteen

Damn this girl could cry it had been at least twenty minutes already. He didn't know how it happened but they were full on cuddling now. She had her back presed against his stomach as he gently touched her hair. He kept reminding himself that he needed to play it cool. Regardless of the fact he didn't want her being this close to his mate was making him hard.
His wolf too just desperately wanted to kiss her and do whatever she allowed him to. But Kai wouldn't let that happen just cuddling was more then enough,even cuddling might be crossing a line. He didn't want to admit it but seeing her cry was killing him inside and he hoped Ace handled Katherine so he didn't have to do it himself. Finally she stopped crying and she was past out. Kai looked at her sleeping peacefully goddess she really was beautiful he thought to himself.
He quietly removed himself from her body and slowly got off of her bed. He slowly opened her bedroom door and took one last look at her. He tip toed over to her and grabbed the blanket at the end of her bed and put it onto her body before sneaking out of her room closing the door. He let out a big sigh and made his way downstairs.
" There you are" Max spoke as he saw his brother coming down the stairs.
Kai didn't say anything just raised his eyebrow at him " I couldn't find you or Ace what's going on today?" Max asked.
" Katherine attacked Mae. I've been with her the whole time comforting her, I don't know where Ace went" he told his brother.
Max let out a growl " Why would she do that?" he asked Kai.
Kai shrugged his shoulders " She's jealous" was all he said.
" So what punishment did Ace give her?" Max asked him.
" The only thing I know for sure is she was taken to the dungeon " Kai told his brother.
Max nodded his head " that's a start" he mumbled.
Kai just smirked at his brother " I just hope he handles this correctly and not emotionally " he replied.
" You think he will be too harsh on her?" Max asked his younger brother.
" No the opposite. We both know how much he loves Katherine, and now more then ever he admires how strong she is. He might not want to be too extreme in fear of losing her" Kai told him.
" Well I won't let that happen" Max told him.
" OH why do you care?" Kai asked him trying to hold in a laugh.
" She can't just go attacking people. There's rules to the pack and even she must obey them" he told Kai.
" Sure" Kai told him with a laugh.
" I'm not like the two of you. I don't want her, you both act like you don't but the way you look at her. And if she even moves an inch both of you are following her I don't do that" Max told him.
" You were so mad at her a few hours ago" Kai told his brother.
" I thought she was hurt or lost. Nothing more nothing less" Max told him.
" Sure" was all Kai got out when Ace came from the kitchen.
" We need to talk" Ace said as the other two nodded and followed him into the office.
Ace closed the door behind them " I don't know what to do about Katherine" he said as the other two shared a look.
" Well what are you thinking?" Max asked him.
" At least a week in the dungeon,a lashing as well. But is that fair?" Ace asked them.
" How many lashes?" Kai asked him.
" Two or three" Ace told him.
Kai shook his head " Too soft. She cannot go around attacking people she needs to learn" he told his brother.
Ace sighed " Then what do you suggest?" he asked his brother.
" At least fifty" Kai spoke up.
" That's too much and you know it. If we lash her that much he run the risk of her family starting a riot" Ace told him.
As far back as anyone can remember Katherine's family were warriors. From the age of two Katherine and her four brothers were trained to fight.
" They won't" Kai told him.
" Explain to me how after fifty lashes she won't leave me" Ace told him.
" She won't. She wants to be Luna, and the Luna cannot act that way" Kai told him.
Ace sighed " Compromise? Ten lashes" he looked at his brother clearly distraught at the thought.
" Thirty" Kai replied back.
Ace sighed again and looked towards Max " Max you're the tie breaker like always, what do you think?" he asked him.
" Twenty is more then enough" he told Ace.
Ace growled " I'll remember this if Alyssa gets herself into trouble. I won't be generous with her either" he said slamming his fist onto the table.
" Alyssa won't act up she knows better " Max told him.
" Let's get this over with" Ace told his brothers as they left the room.
Ace mindlinked a warrior to meet them in the dungeon with the whip. The three of them made their way downstairs to find Katherine in one of the cells still crying.
" Ace I'm so sorry I love you, you know I love you. I'll never act that way again I promise" she told him getting close to the cell door just sobbing.
" I know. And you know how much I love you. This physically hurts me but you do need to be punished Katherine" Ace told her.
She shook her head no and started to cry harder " One week down here and thirty lashes to your back" he said as a warrior opened up the cell.
" Ace please stop! That wasn't me and you know it" she screamed as the warrior grabbed onto her.
" I know. But you know there must be some punishment " he told her.
The warrior dragged her out of her cell and grabbed her arms chaining her up as well as her legs.
" I won't do it" Ace said as the warrior handed him the wip.
The warrior ripped off the back of her shirt as Katherine begged and pleaded. Without warning the warrior hit her, Katherine's scream echoed the dungeon.
Slap, slap, slap. The lashing just kept coming.
" Twenty eight" Kai spoke counting it out.
" Hold on you're almost there" Ace spoke.
Slap " Twenty nine" Kai spoke.
" I love you so much Katherine" Ace told her.
Slap " Thirty" Kai spoke.
The warrior unlatched her and Katherine instantly fell to the ground as she shook. Max and Kai left as Ace got down on the ground planting kisses all over her face.
" I'm so so sorry Katherine. I love you baby please forgive me" he pleaded with her.
She didn't respond just cried as she hugged him tightly.
Kai sighed as he left them down there.
