Chapter Two

Several hours had packed and Mae had spent the time in her room unpacking and crying off and on. There was a knock at her door.
" Come downstairs we're having supper" Kai told her.
" I'm not hungry" she told him.
He shrugged his shoulders " Fine starve yourself, you could lose some weight anyway" he told her as he walked away.
" Seriously?" she called after him.
" Seriously what? Does the truth hurt or something?" he asked her.
" What makes you think you can talk to me like that?" she asked him as they made their way downstairs .
" Well I just did" he told her taking a seat at the table.
" Is there a problem?" Max spoke up looking between the two of them.
" He called me fat" Mae spoke up.
" Just in your ass" Ace spoke up with a smirk.
" Why are you looking at her ass?" Katherine spoke up glaring at him.
" Can't help but look. There's nothing wrong with her ass Katherine it's a compliment " he told her as she rolled her eyes.
" Well the fact you're complimenting her ass while we're together is insulting to me" Katherine told him.
" Stop being dramatic its you're the one I'm with" he said leaning in to kiss her cheek.
Mae just kept quiet there wasn't any point speaking up. Plus she was confused by Ace's ass comment why was he looking if he wanted nothing to do with her?
" That's more then enough ass talk for one meal" Max told them as both brothers laughed.
"So Mae why were you cleaning the packs house?" Max asked.
" That wad my job" she told him.
" Seems like a shitty job to me. He pay you enough for you to live? Kai asked her.
She shrugged her shoulders " not really" she replied.
" So then how did you survive?" Max asked.
" I uh danced at a club four nights a week too" she said quietly.
" OH so you were a slut " Ace spoke up.
" I am not a slut" she told him getting angry with him.
" If you're shaking your fat ass for money that makes you a slut" he told her glaring at her.
" Why can't you just shut up and leave me alone?" she asked him getting up from the table.
He pushed the table forward and lunged at her slamming her into the wall " Watch how you speak to me. I don't play nice" he told her.
Kai rolled his eyes and pulled Ace away from her " You can't hurt her. If anyone sees bruises they'll think she's not wanted here" he told Ace.
" But I'm not wanted. You've all made that very clear" Mae told him as she was trying not to cry.
" That doesn't matter if you're wanted or not. We're the Alpha's " Kai told her.
" So as your Alpha I order you to eat" Max spoke up.
Mae slowly walked over to the table and sat down to eat.
" So what am I supposed to do here?" she asked them.
" Exisit. You have free reign of the house, you can do whatever you want in the pack" Max told her.
" But under no circumstances will you go back to dancing. There's no sluts allowed in this house" Ace spoke up.
" What if I wanted to?" she asked him.
" Don't test us. We are in charge of you and you will follow our orders" he told her.
Without warning Katherine stood up and left the room. Ace didn't say anything but followed her. Alyssa also stood up and followed Katherine out of the room.
" Theres lots of fun things to do around here, I'm sure you'll find something " Max spoke as he followed Alyssa out.
" Come along I'll show you around I guess" Kai said as he left the room too.
Kai showed her around the entire pack house. There was a library, pool, game room, bar, TV room. At the very least at least she wouldn't be bored in this hell hole.
