Chapter Three

Mae went upstairs after supper the last thing she wanted was to be around these guys anymore then she needed to. Despite doing nothing they still were irritated by her. She figured she may as well not speak maybe that would make things eaiser on her. She went into her own bathroom and took off her clothes putting them in the hamper and got into the shower. She wasn't used to this nice of a shower so she was taking her time and relaxing.
As she was showering she could hear moaning from the other side of the wall. She rolled her eyes and finished the shower and got out getting dressed and drying her hair. She went to the dresser and pulled out her pj's. She was wearing a hot pink nightgown. She laid down closing her eyes getting ready to sleep.
When the wall started shaking at her head and moaning could heard. Seriously she thought rolling her eyes again. Why did her room have to be in between the two couples. She gave it a few minutes but it wasn't stopping so she rolled out of bed putting her slippers on. She grabbed her robe too and opened her bedroom door making her way downstairs.
There was literally no way she would be able to sleep hearing the moans of her mates and knowing it wasn't her causing them. She just needed to get it out of her head, they didn't want her and so be it. Why on earth she was here still made no sense. She decided to go into the living room and watch some TV to kill time.
She was searching around looking for a light when it suddenly turned on. Kai was sitting there in a chair as he was sitting on his phone.
" What are you doing down here?" he asked her.
" I couldn't sleep" was all she said.
He smirked and chuckled " Yeah that's an understatement " he replied.
His smile made her just want to melt into his arms but she knew she couldn't.
" Is it always like that?" she asked him.
" No thankfully. I'd have to move out if that was the case" he told her.
She let out a giggle " That wasn't meant to be funny I was being serious" he told her.
" OH sorry" she replied looking down.
" That Alpha of yours really screwed you up I see" he told her.
" I guess" she replied.
" Just because I wasn't making a joke doesn't mean you need to apologize " he told her standing up walking over to her.
He looked down at her as she bit her bottom lip " This is nice " he said eyeing her pjs.
" Thank you" she said quietly.
" Do you know why my brother's are both having loud obnoxious s*x right now?" he asked her and she shook her head no.
Without warning he slid the robe down to her shoulders as his fingers gently grazed her arm " Your scent" he replied softly.
" What about my scent?" she asked.
" You smell like vanilla. Sweet, pure and tempting " he told her as he got an inch from her face.
She started feeling herself over heating and getting excited " Is that a bad thing?" she whispered to him.
He smirked at her as he licked his bottom lip as he gently grabbed onto her chin " It's very hard to control myself around you, at least my brothers have someone to distract them" he told her.
" Why do you need to control yourself? Give in" she said to him.
He leaned in close and whispered into her ear " You'd like that wouldn't you slut?" he asked as she rolled her eyes.
She pushed him away and pulled her robe back up " it's cute you think I'd actually want to f**k you. Just because you're my mate doesn't mean anything. But thanks for playing it was fun watching you get all hot and bothered" he said with another smirk as he walked away.
Mae breathed hard as he walked away. He definitely realized how aroused she was why was he playing with her like this?
