We made our way down to my father's infamous dining hall, with a table so long that it ran the length of the room. My mother and father were waiting at the bottom of the stairs with smiles beaming on their faces. Before my foot reached the bottom step, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I released a low breath of relief and flashed my brightest smile at both my mum and dad. "Ready for dinner?" My father asked. I nodded profusely. "Indeed. I'm just so hungry." I responded with enthusiasm whilst nearly gritting my teeth. It was hard to plaster on a fake smile but it was very, very necessary. My father led the way into the dining hall, and I wasn't surprised to hear Dimitri and Andrew gasp in awe as we entered the room.
